Thanks Mori! Plot opening is up guys, hoping for at least once a week, or maybe a week and a half post time, if you can’t post, I’ll push the plot along without trying to auto too much. But I would like at least a post every 9 days. Give or take... Your First post will be a little different from mine, your characters story so far, set your character and your surroundings up, for instance, the plot takes part several years after all the stories have been told. So maybe Hansel and Gretel are teenagers, Cinderella is the Queen. The Three Pigs have dealt with the notorious Wolf thusly! As it stands, I’m taking the GM position super cereal, so no Auto of NPC, unless they’re yours. Fighting is going to be a real fight, so when I send the soldiers in, I’ll also control them. Your first post won’t be very actioney, but the action is coming, trust me! Hope that’s cool guys, if you have a friend, sign them up, we need a few more numbers, need a Princess! Cant have a fairytale without a Princess!

*raises hand* I really want to play the girl in The Seven Ravens, but if you -really- need a princess, I can swing that too.

I hope the post I did was ok and usable. I wanted to play the three witches but I think having a princess like the three witches is better...

So it's only tales from the Brothers Grimm? Or can they be tales from where ever?

Hello Fairytale Fables
I’ve been writing up some extra info to avoid any confusion. So hopefully this will help.
When creating your characters, think about their various tales and what sort of role they had in said tale; also think about my first introductory post. This fairytale ream that our characters exists in, are being attacked by an enemy who far exceeds their level of technology, for instance. There’s no such thing as guns. So when Baby refers to a rifle as a boom stick, it’s not because he’s a Bear, it’s because these Fairytale characters have never experience firearms before.
When creating your character also take into account their initial stance, for instance; Hansel and Gretel’s witch is clearly not a goody, also take into account the characters that have already posted. Do you want your character to work alongside the rebellion? Or be adversaries or begrudging allies?
Of course that doesn’t mean your character has to follow a set path. I don’t want to hinder creativity!
The timeline in our plot is wherever your characters original story ended, if you were to play Cinderella, she married the prince. Snow White... well I guess she married the prince too. But that doesn’t mean your character has to stay married. Another example is Mori’s character Scarlett, better known as Little Red Riding Hood. We’re introduced to her as an adult several years after she was attacked and ultimately saved from the Wolf, now we’re just seeing the ramifications of her initial fairytale story in our plot.
I’d like you to keep the initial story somewhat pure, or at least as how you were told the story, there are hundreds of different versions and I’m sure we all know a slightly different version. That being said, where OUR story begins is up to you. Does Cinderella have to have stayed married? Not at all, what has happened since Cinderella got married is up to you. This is where OUR story picks up. Just keep in mind the technology constraints, swords and sorcery no guns.
As for the Grimm Brothers, the characters don’t have to be Grimm, but I would prefer if they were something popular and not too obscure. Send me a PM before you write your first post and I’ll OK or poopoo your character.
Hope that’s easier to understand guys, sorry if I confused you.
Let me know if there are any problems.
I may put off the second post for a little while to give people a chance to think up or rework a character!
Thanks Morthikans!
