The Branded (CALLING ALL PLAYERS!!!!)

So with all of us coming back together, I considered that it might be hard to pick up old chains and regain the old flame that we used to have with those plots.  Instead of beginning on a start of just our old plots, I am going to throw my hand into the ring to try to create something even more popular than my last creation for Morthika, Anima. 

This new plot is best explained by a website that I created for it, that I will post here in a bit for you to read.  This RP is based in the Modern world and is more a look at mythical allegory than it is something like pop-culture monsters as has been the previous norm here on Morthika.  Mixing a bit of science fiction with old world mysticism, the Branded is an RP where you will need to make a moral choice to join Six and his super-powered Branded or take up the sword of righteousness with the Crimson Paladins and strike down the usurper of humanity.  You know....or you could choose to join the various factions of mankind that have chosen to hide the real past and suppress humanity.  This RP is aimed at creating a text view of a world over-all, something to be more visually stimulating and engaging.  I will be including World Events that will randomly shake up the world as a force of destruction begins to make it's way to Earth.

So its sure to be an interesting adventure where you can never be sure where the story is going to turn, because just like the real world there will be unforeseen events to befall good, evil, and neutral alike.

Thank you!  I wanted it to be bare bones, but didnt know if it was too bare bones.  So if you or anyone else has questions, feel free to ask.  I do have a vision of this including figures from Mythical history.  Divine energies will be part of the opposing force, one of them behind the Crimson Paladins themselves.  Also minor powers will be allowed.  So keep that in mind, I just didnt want that part of the story to be apparent from the outright.  OH! And also if any of you want to take a more major role, please let me know.  We are going forward with this based on participation.

I like the concept. Might want to put a bit more involving a basic plot line, and where the story might kick off. I was reading through everything like "Where's it starting out?" lol

Do you have a basic skeleton for profiles? Is it open form on the type of visual representation- like "real" or "live action" faceclaims, or fantasy artwork? I know there is some basic information to be put up on on the Family and Enemy pages. I just didn't know if there was more you had in mind to want about backgrounds and such?

I appreciate the interest and I apologize for having be pretty bare bones.  I just wanted it as a reference tool, and also I never thought I would be able to pitch it here to my family on Morthika.  So once again, a thousand thank yous for your feedback.  The profile skeleton will be posted here in this area once we have confirmation of a continuance forward.  As for some of the other questions I will try to answer them as well as I can. 

Question: "What pictures would I be allowed to use for this RP?" Answer: I dont mind artistic renderings, paintings, 3D Models, or even celebrity/model photos.  THE ONLY THING that I wouldnt allow would be anything that does not portray a modern character as this is happening right now in 2014/2015 (There could be an exception to this, however it would involve a lot of discussion between myself and the player.  I.E.  Another mythical person coming back from a slumber).  ( darknessvice6.wix.com/thebranded#!family-of-the-serpent/cjtx  is a great example of what will be on the WEBSITE and an idea of where the leader of the Branded stands.  You will notice that I used artistic photography for my avatar)

Question: "Is my profile the same between the WEBSITE and MORTHIKA?" Answer: No, everything that is put on the website will be my interpretation of your character and how I understand it when I discuss it with you.  I will be putting up a Morthika profile for everyone to go off of, but that will be some time while we try to get the wheels spinning.

Question(s): "Where is the plot line?  And why isnt it on the site?" Answer:  I spent ALOT of time designing the website and it was on a whim, I never imagined I would be able to bring it home.  As for a more straightforward plot line such as: where we are, what we are doing, and what is current in the works, will be put up on this thread when I get it hashed out.  Didnt want to put the work into writing it out only to not have anywhere to play it, but since we are getting going here I would be more than overjoyed to make something up for you guys!

Once again I appreciate the feed back and I will get something up here about where the story will begin very soon, as well as a little timeline to help you guys understand where everything has come from, from 1918 in the frozen north of Russia, all the way to 2014.

Yes, as Mori said this is a great idea for a sub-board.  Will give everyone a place to post while the entirety of the main plot is going on.  I will have a profile skeleton up and ready for everyone tonight while I am still online.  I also will give a better explanation about how things are beginning.

Anything with R following it is required information, all others are optional

Name:R

Age:R

Height:

Weight:

Eyes:

Hair:

Allegiance: R (Azazel, Crimson Paladins, Neutral, Or perhaps even belonging to one of the miscellaneous groups.)

Occupation & Rank: R

Brand: R if applicable

Power Mastery: R if applicable (This would be for the branded or even paladins, leaders will be masters in nearly everything to do with their brand/organization while lessers will have to choose specific skills/powers)

Demeanor: R (This can be as light as "shy" or as heavy as your imagination will take you.)

History: R (This is just like demeanor, I know we have plans for a sub-board but you can give a little bit besides for how they were branded or brought into the fight against them)
