Hey everyone, I've been RPing here in Morthika for a while now, and while I havent been in many plots, I've thouroughly enjoyed it. Recently I was reading a book on the prohibition era(you know, 1920's america, Al Capone... Flappers) and was really inspired by it. I got to writing and have a short story of about 20 pages.
So the point is, I would like to run a plot here based in that era. I plan for the starting to be that all the members are in one way or another connected with a booze-running team(possibly freelance NPCs or the players themselves). This connection could happen in may ways, from being a regular patron or staff member at the speakeasy where they deliver to, or as a member of the team, or even as a member of the law enforcement department who try to track them down.
I would like to know what you think, and if you want to get in on it. No knowledge is really required, although I would like to keep the language in era-slang type of things.

God i hate you guys...
You make it so hard to try and avoid starting any new plots but i dont know if i can resist this one... i'll try but it may not work well.
I may be a ganster or a hot speak easy singer... dunno yet, both are AWESOME.

Okay, if its okay, I call Dibs on the Madame of the Speakeasy or Big Easy, or whatever the hell its called... I dont mean we have prostitutes or anything, but shes kinda like the Big Mama who runs the show on the outside, while the bootlegging goes on behind doors, perhaps? She could have a certain.. style.. *giggles*

I agree Jacki Catrux-I would prefer people to not be the higher-ups in the mob, but so long as you are a Hands-On type of Don it's OK, cause Dons are normally fairly hands off, im just afraid that it wouldn't be a lot of postage from you. But it is still forming in my mind, and I can shape it so it includes the higher ups. I have lots of directions we can go with this, and even have some future plots planned to start out when this one reaches a ceartain point Talisen: Ya, that sounds good Mori: sounds good too, just put together the concept When your ready, just PM the character profiles to me, and I will sort them and place them at the end of my first post. I hope to get the actual plot running sometime next week, if I have enough people(looking for 4 or more) Have a good day  |

ha ha zack, burn to YOU! neways i hope when ODK gets back and Dag gets wind of this we might be a little more in buisiness. Ive decided that i'm going to set an actual start date, and let people join in and take over NPCs or make their own chars(the bootleggers may need to look for old associates or find new friends in case of death during gunfights(hint hint))
soo... start date is *drumroll* Wedensday!!! so gird you loins and hoist your tommy guns everybody!

K... not sure how to do para profiles on this thing but I wouldn't mind playing a bootleggin lad. Call me Adair! Adair came from Ireland and found himself in a new country and no way to support himself except to pickpocket his way through life. He ends up learning how to bootleg and is quick to bring the goods! Yes.... no..... no answer?
