Its funny you should ask about getting things moving.. I now have Rose and another vamp staying back in Sydney to take on Perrys attack, so things should start moving in that direction.. *looks at those three pointedly*

we still don't know how his Vampires die, should we just agree that it should be the old Favourites? Stake through the Heart, decapitation? Holy water, sunlight? Let me know Dudes and dudettes.

As for how our vamps die.. *nods* yeah, I think we should just say the old favourites.. but lets give everyone involved a chance to vote on how they should die... a poll perhaps?
So far.. I think a few of us have said that direct sunlight hurts like a son of a bitch, but doesnt actually kill our vamps unless they are fully exposed to it for an extended amount of time... I think decapatation (spelling?) was decided upon as being quite lethal.. same for the stake in the heart..*shrugs* And crosses piss our guys off.. as does holy water, but I think they might burn more than kill... what say you lot?

I was under the impression that we were playing vampires more Rice-an in nature. Kakihara and I have already used crosses in our RP -- they didn't hurt/"piss" us off a bit. Decapitation seems fairly good as far as rendering a vampire immobile, harmless, etc. -- but I think burning the entire body (along with the head) is the best way to make sure the beast is dead. Aaand then the ashes should be scattered. *Grin* Otherwise that soul is going to stick around until an uber-powerful vampire comes and dribbles a little ancient-blood on the ash pile. It's like a chia pet thing, you know.

As far as a stake in the heart goes...like, a silver stake in the heart? A wooden stake? Most of our vampires adore the lush life, so I'm assuming silver does diddly squat -- they're around silver all the time. And holy water? I thought Kakihara drank a little at some point in his history, but who knows. I know I'd rather stay away from the Dracula cliches, but if you guys wanna go for it...let's discuss options.

I think it should be a good mix between Rice and everything else, i agree with all of what Leets said more or less, methinks a wooden stake through the heart should do it, beheading... fire, as for crosses... well i think they should do diddly, but methinks holy water should have some effect.
It's still cool that Kakihara drank holy water in his past, it means he's even more f*cked up then first thought!
Or maybe it could be Lilith and Kakihara who have grown somewhat imune to crosses and holy water, i think it would go well with the whole sadist torture vibe you guys have got going! lol but i'll leave that up to you, a poll you say Sissy?
Not saying that a cross and holy water kills, but maybe makes them somewhat irratible long exposure could start to burn. Lets give poor Dawn and Me something to work with! LOL it's allllll alright for you Vamps, but were the ones trying to safe the world everyday! Sheesh...

But yes, remember here that this is freeform.. so say, well one vampire could be killed by the head being chopped off.. another could be burned and still come back, I think it comes down to what the player wishes for their character. Just as a vampire could try and turn Peregrine and he could die, turn or not turn.. really it would end up on what the player wanted. That is my opinion. Finally, I say we just RP and worry about the details later. I see a lot of OOC and not a lot of posting. *laughs* I couldnt have said it better myself .. *nods* I dont realy like the idea of being stuck with the label of using "Rice" or "Dracula" vamps and cliches though.. I like the idea of them being Morthikan vamps. We Morthikans ARE freeform, and the creative force behind our characters, so I say it is up to us how we want to play our C's. Our resident psychopaths may not have any reaction to crosses or holy water, while another vamp might very well do so.. *shrugs* Its entirely up to the player.. As there are different clans, it makes sense that there would be different types of vamps with different strengths, styles and weaknesses. So, perhaps.. each player should decide what DOES cause their vamp a bit of bother and maybe add it to their character information if its not already there? Just remember kiddies.. like BB pointed out.. the enemy does need something to work in their favour, so lets not make our vamps the big invincible king ebil.. ;D |

Ok. Yes. Great idea, MB! Different weaknesses for different clans! I'm going to go post some general weaknesses for the Annex Clan on the 'Character Information' thread as soon as I'm finished here.
Lilith's reply should be up by tonight or tomorrow, and then we'll see how well Peregrine can handle the "resident psychopaths." *Lmao* I love that title, MB. And yeah, I had a dream about Kakihara last night -- not joking! He came to my house...and it was all weird, but kinda' cool (and oh so hot), so I'm inspired -- sick or not! My little holy-water-drinking-hotness IS totally f*cked up, Danoo...*Grin*
I can't wait to get started again.
