Izzienbelle clutched onto Rayne frightfully
"How do we get out of here? I want to go home!"
Izzienbelle said as she sobbed against Rayne shoulder, she was the brightest and most powerful student in Avalon, yet she was reduced to a sobbing three year old… most adults would have been let alone a teenager. The Howls of Pain began to once again echo through the dungeons, chains moved and shook, suddenly over the sound of the nearby wails, a large rhythmic banging sound could be heard, getting closer and closer, louder and louder.
"Footsteps?"
Izzienbelle screeched terribly,
"He's going to kill us!"
She said pulling herself against a wall and trying to drag Rayne with her, she began to push and prod at the stone wall, pleading for the wall to once again open up and lead them back to the castle
"Talisen!"
She called loudly; she stopped suddenly, and slammed her open palm against her forehead
"I know a spell… I know a spell! Give me your first and last names! I can get us out of here!"
She said through tears, she spun around urging Rayne and the shadowed girl to give them their names, the Dungeon was now shaking, the footsteps were outside the heavy iron door, it began to rattle and unlock…

Kaza was used to people staring, but the look he got from Moridanu after her claim of an invader being inside was not appreciated. He watched as Moridanu turned into a raven and then turned to the lady who asked his name. " I am Kaza milady." he said. Then he turned to respond to Talisen's earlier comments. "None hath ever turned down my servitude of a blood oath, yet in what seemeth to be thine hour of need thou hath freed me with no hesitation. Thou art a man of great honor and it would honor me to aid you in any way I can, whether it be by accompanying you to the gates or remaining here to defend the children. Be warned though, my blade is large and I might just widen the halls while wading into mine enemy."

Sehkem soared above the grounds searching for anyone suspicious. After making two passes over the grounds he determined no one was there. Tucking in his wings, Sehkem started his desent. As he hurtled toward the ground, there came the familiar sensation that accompanied the attacks. He was thrown back and was forced to open his wings to stabalize himself. Immediately, he looked around hoping to find the perpitrator. Once again no one was found, convinced this time Sehkem flew toward teh school in time to see Moridanu turn into a raven and fly off.
He hovered above the ground for a moment before he seemingly stepped out of the air onto the ground. Sehkem found himself in front of Talisen, a lizard man and a woman he was unfamiliar with. "I was unable to locate an assailant, I doubt the attacks are coming from the outside. Is there anything else you wish for me to do or should I go and look after the students?" Sehkem was hoping that he would be apointed to be the first line of defense, that way he would be able to ensure the protection of more people.

Rayn crept toward Izzienbelle with decripit slowness as not to make a noise. The sounds of the screaming and shuddering were becoming progressively louder and louder, just as Izzienbelle's screams.
"Quiet! Now!', he hissed at her with a ferociousness.
He finally reached her with his staff ready, not willing to trust this stranger. For all he knew, she could be the person that was the cause of all this. She reached out and clutched the front of his robes, doubling him over. He tried to pull away, but she was so scared and frightened her grip was vicelike. He gazed into her fearful eyes, and he knew that she was just a prisoner.
Her screams started to grow, but in a sudden realization, she slapped her forehead with unnesseccary force.
"Quick, give me your first and last names! I can get us out of here!" she exclaimed frantically.
He hesitated. He knew he just couldn't go shooting off his name to people he didn't even remotely know, but it was a chance to "escape" whatever he had fallen into.
"My name is.....Rayn Cloud.", he stated.
He glanced over at the mysterious girl. A frown came to his face as he remembered the confused look she had worn earlier that day when the teacher Sehkem asked for their names. Eavesdropping, she gave two names for reasons unknown. He looked at her quizzically, becoming aware that the noises were the loudest they have been.
"You do know your name, don't you!" he half-shouted at her.
Waiting for her reply, he decided to act as he could feel a strange prescence from a little distance away.
"Drak!" he commaned firmly, speaking to his staff.
An abnormal darkness slowly emitted from the crystal, casting the three into a supernatural darkness. Hoping he didn't mess up any plans of the others, he perked his ears for the response from the mysterious girl.

Despite her urgency to get the girl to stay silent, she continued to scream and weep, professing her wish to go home. Rolling her eyes, she stood up straight after completely surveying her surroundings. There wasnt anything nearby that could be considered a threat yet, and she decided to make better use of her time by trying to figure out how to get out of this damn place.
She had learned to cancel noises out in order to think, but the insistant whining was beginning to annoy her. She kept screaming about footsteps and someone coming to kill us. Ha, I'd like to see anything this damn place can throw at me. Sure, she was completely unaware of what the darkness could offer her, but it was better to be confident of her own skills then to doubt them. As the screaming girl came to realize she could "get them out of here", she gave a sarcastic laugh.
"Oh, do you now? Only our first and last names? Tell you what, consider yourselve lucky. Transport your little self on out of here so I dont have to put up with your crying anymore, and I'll find my own way out."
She'll be damned if she was giving anyone her first and last name. Of course it wasnt the fact that she didnt have a name, more so that she was more intelligent then to go about and throw information about herself at a complete stranger.
At the boy's words, that she perhaps didnt know her own name, she threw him a cold glare, bringing up one of her daggers. Walking towards him slowly, taking little notice that he was in some way comforting the distraught girl, she spoke very slowly and cleary. Why was it so hard for get clueless people to understand something?
"I.... know.... my.... name. You can put your life in this girls hands, but it must not be worth much if you can trust someone so weak."
Before she could add anything else, he seemed to have given some sort of command to that staff of his, making glow and emit a form of darkness. Taking several steps back, she brainstormed into her defense tactics, instantly coming up with an idea. Sheathing her blades, she closed her eyes and held out her gloved palms facing the advancing darkness. Focusing all of her thinking of forming a barrier between them, she felt a pressure in her mind. Squinting her eyes, she tried to force it as hard as she could, feeling ti beginning to work, but slowly faltering. Her hands began to tremble and her face was turning red. She emitted a small moaning noise unintentionally, suggesting that her body was going under great strain. As the boy's darkness reached her open hands, her mind went blank, and her hands fel down, her knees buckling under her as her spell failed.
Cursing at herself, she knew it was a stupid move. She had not completed her training. Her brother's death cut it short, and even thought she was skilled with weapons, her magick was thrown to hell. Pulling her goves back up onto her arms under her cloak, she sat on the floor, head facing down, ashamed at how she had shown to anyone who was watching that she couldnt handle her own weight in magick.

Taken aback by the girls reaction to his question, he stepped back with one foot and set his staff in front of him ready to cast the same bluish barrier he had conjured earlier.
'Who would rather not trust and be decieved than be left alone in the darkness!?' he replied scathingly.
His mind was reeling with thoughts. He knew better than to trust someone so weak, but this was practically his first time without his teachers supervision. Trust was a lost facet of people in these times, and he could have kicked himself for thinking that if he showed trust, people would return the favor. He remember his masters words. A man who doesn't trust himself can never trust anyone else. He realized he would have to trust himself in this situation, with or without either of the females help.
Glancing up, he saw the mysterious girls holding her black gloved hands in front of her, her blades disappearing into her sleeves. He knew what she was attempting, a barrier, with no magic weapon of no kind. He waited for the energy to come, but it faltered. A moan escaped her lips and as soon as his darkness reached her personal space, she fell to her knees. A sense of pity and confusion swept over him as he saw the girl put her face down in shame. He noticeably frowned, although he was slightly laughing at her failure because he recalled his first failed attempt to cast a barrier and the same thing happened to him. His muscles eased as she sat down and mentally started to beat herself up.
'Now is not the time! What are you prepared for!?' he half'shouted to the mysterious girl.
His temper rising, the chained girls whining had gotten on his last nerve. He walked over and swung the butt end of his staff towards her face, aiming to silence the girls unnecessary screams and shouts. Backing away slowly and breathing heavily, he turned to focus his attention to the mysterious girl.
He had half a mind to just proceed further into the "dungeon" they were trapped in, but going alone would be sucicide. He waited for the mysterious girl's reaction before deciding his next move. He didn't know how or when, but he assured himself that he will get out of this place.

The magic in the dungeon acted strangely, although the spells of darkness and force fields worked, the magic's hung in the air thickly, creating a strong coppery smell of the arcane. Izzienbelle stopped crying immediately, the banging on the door ceased, but the painful screams and cries from beyond still rang out as they original had. Izzienbelle lifted her head; she easily and slightly unnaturally dodged her head to the left to avoid the blunt of Rayn's staff.
"At least one of you had enough sense… what is it that fool Talisen teaches you at that school of his? Knowing a person's full puts you under their power, it's the most dangerous weapon an enemy can possess"
Izienbelle said coolly, she stood up and straightened her pretty long wavy black hair. Heavy dark makeup was streaked across her face and eyes from the tears; her simple black dress was dirty and stained. She pointed accusingly at the mysterious shrouded girl
"You I can't quite figure out yet are you keeping a secret or are you simply a dumb? There are plenty of them walking around this accursed land of Moridanu's… brain-dead from battle…"
Izienbelle shook her head and waged her finger like she was a teacher scolding a student
"No… that’s not it, I feel something, something dark… it's delicious, after you're dead, I'll resurrect your immortal soul to work for me…"
Izienbelle said earnestly. While it wasn't something that was at first noticeable, the girl was beginning to change, she still looked the same but older, she was growing taller and her legs started to fuse together and change colour until her stump was a dark royal purple.
"You don’t even have enough sense to know where you are… funny… your supposed to be the brightest Talisen has, he saw grand things in your future…"
Izienbelle was a little girl no more. Instead she stood at least 7ft tall, her legs were a thick and long serpent tail, it coiled around her body horribly, small sharp coils sprouted along her spine travelling down her tail. Her shirt had ripped off and she stood in front of the teenagers naked, her skin was pale and scaly with an odd purple shine to it. She was a Naga.
"You're in Lucien's lair children… your going to be tortured and killed…"
She said with a sadistic, serpentine grin.

Talisen straightened himself out, his robes were askew and his hood had slipped somewhat, it wasn’t long before he was looking as impeccable as ever though. Caer answered his call
"Thankyou for being prompt Caer, we're under attack; I can't locate the atta-"
He was cut off suddenly; a group of trees that was surrounding the school simply began to crumble as if they were made of parchment. A growl could be heard over the sound of nighttimes and through the tiny forest came a troll. It was unlike any Troll Talisen had ever seen, it looked like a half-breed, cross between troll and demon perhaps. It stood at least 12ft tall, its skin was a dark purple. Two large horns protruded from its forehead and the creature was pure muscle. It carried a tree stump as a club.
Talisen readied himself, he closed his palms but kept his middle and forefinger outstretched, the tips of his fingers began to glow
"Stay away from the club! If you give him the opportunity to hot you he will, protect the school!"
Talisen roared over the sound of the beast's growls.
((Guys you can attack the Troll, but he's a NPC so you know how it works!))

Kaza watched the monsterous being come through the trees as though they were nothing. The troll was one of the largest he had seen, but he had killed larger creatures with his claws and teeth alone. "Come to thine death murderous beast of the foul realms." Kaza then started to charge at the troll while swinging his blade around him in a never ending dance. Over his head, behind his back, spinning and flashing all the while. At the same time an inhuman noise issued forth from him as he entered into a rage, his strongest weapon. It started out as a low rumble and developed into a monsterous roar moments before reaching the troll. Kaza attacked the troll with unerving ferocity, but at the same time each stroke smoothly melded into the next to form a unending attack. In his rage Kaza didn't know, or really care, if any of his attacks hit, but even if they didn't he was hopefully tireing the creature out. He doged, and even parried, most of the attacks made by the troll and the few that hit only connected well enough to knock Kaza away, not kill him, but Kaza immediately joined into the fray again after each time he was knocked away. Kaza had never lost a battle, or even ran from a battle, and he wasn't about to now.

Sehkem listened as Talisen began explaining the situation to a new arrival, though he was soon interrupted by a foul looking creature. The creature was roughly twice as tall as Sehkem and was obviously strong, though Sehkem seemed rather unimpressed. Looking over to Talisen, Sehkem smiled a bit and said, "You know what? I think if you were to use an enlargement spell on me, this would be taken care of a bit quicker. Your choice though." Sehkem then watched as the lizard man launched a feverish attack on the troll thing.
Seeing as Sekhem was more agile in the air, he took flight and began his own attack on the beast. Knowing the beast couldn't be good, Sehkem used only his holy, scythe, leaving his left hand free to cast holy magic. As he neared the enemy, Sehkem began glowing a brilliant white, only adding to his angelic appearance. The scythe in Sehkem's hand burst into flames around the blade, though the flames were white, it was holy fire. With Kaza providing a distraction, Sehkem swung his scythe hoping to cause a large gash in the trolls arm.

*From her position flying high above the vast estate of the Academy, Moridanu could see for miles in every direction. It was because of this that she saw the trolls’ approach a good few moments before he came into view of the others. In her avian form, she flew towards the troll, her small black body a mere blemish against his huge, gnarled and dark purple head. Pecking at his skin with her sharp beak proved as ineffective as a mosquito bite and she flew easily out of harms way as he swung his club up in an attempt to knock her out of the sky.
Flying a safe distance away, she perched in the tallest branch of a nearby tree as she watched him approach Talisen and the school. The sheer size of the beast meant that he might make short work of Talisen regardless of the battle mage’s power, and Moridanu shuddered, her black feathers rippling all over her body. The other two with Talisen began a fervent attack against the large troll and Moridanu felt idle just sitting by.
Wrapping her long talons around the branch, she began to flap her large wings back and forth, causing a gust of wind to ripple through the treetops. As she flapped her wingers harder and faster, the wind quickly turned into what could almost be called as cyclonic winds. Twigs, leaves, rocks and debris swirled around the forest, becoming airborne projectiles all aimed at the trolls head. Though it would not stop him, it was certainly slowing him down, and Moridanu hoped it would buy them some time until someone else thought of something else. *

From her position on the stone floor, she could sense something was off. The air had a different density to it, as if air was being compressed to form some sort of magic pressure. Not being able to put her finger on it, the second she knew something was wrong, she jumped up and drew her daggers again, shaking her head to rid the annoyance of the cloaks hood. Her hair was messy and tangled in front of ehr face, but her keen eyes missed nothing. She was on her highest alert, and every muscle was positioned ready for whatever was going to be thrown at her. Seeing the now quiet girl dodge the quick swing from Rayn's staff, she had congradulated herself for not underestimating the stranger. Had the crying been real, the once weak girl wouldnt have been able to dodge the blow. No, she had definately changed to more of a threat, and at the same time only became a bigger problem.
Being roughly 10 feet from the accusingly pointing finger, her mind went numb. Her entire body went still. She heard nothing. She felt nothing. The only sense she had left was sight. The girl's rambling about Talisen's plans and the resurrecting of her own immortal soul went unnoticed. But she did see the rapid transformation the girl became. A scaly creature that she had never seen before. Her brother had explained many of the world's monsters that she should protect herself from, but she had seldom been able to see one up close. Well, there was a first for everything. The now towering creature was atleast seven feet tall, more then a match for her own short stature. Her blades were her only way to win a fight with this thing, and she was going to have to do everything in her power to use her advantage of a weapon.
In a blur, everything she had been taught about combat flew threw her head. Dont get ahead of yourself. Dont hesitate. Swing strong. Dont lose your grip. Keep your eyes on your target. Every aim needs to be a fatal one. Be swift. Stay out of sight. Use your agility to dodge. Dont stay in one place too long. Every thought was one for a win. Above all, the biggest piece of advice her brother had ever given her about fighting, was to never, even for a second, think that you were going to lose. If you doubt your own abilities for even a second, you had already lost. Always give it your all, and keep your eyes on winning. Despite the look of things, she was not about to let her brother's advice go to waste. Even if she ultimately came to meet her maker in this dungeon, she was going to go down bringing this bitch with her.
Paying no mind to where ever Rayn was standing, she broke into a dead run, lowering her head to project herself into the creature's stomach. Holding her shoulder's tight, she prepared every muscle in her body for impact, so as not to take the hit herself.

Dysis woke up, her eyes fluttering from sleep. She looked around, her room was a mess, and things flung everywhere. Her eyes swept over the room in confusion. Dysis was usually very fastidious. It seemed as if something had rocked the castle, something big. She grabbed her deep-green covers and threw them aside as she got out of bed. She walked over to the door, her bare feet making a small pat. She peeked out the door, looking in to the old, ornate hallways. They were deserted.
She grabbed her white dress and slipped it on over her head. She then grabbed her ribbon and tied it around her neck and waist, letting it fall behind her, trailing just above the ground. Her flute lay just a few feet away, so she grabbed it up and put it in the space between the ribbon and herself. With that, she walked out of her room and into the hallway. She might as well go on a midnight stroll, she had nothing better to do. She turned the corner and walked by a statue. She stopped as she passed. She looked around the room, and finally toward the statue. It was the former headmaster of the academy. To her amazement, it's lips began form words. “All able bodied teachers are to meet me out the front; several of you must stay behind and watch over the children." Dysis looked around the deserted halls. She must’ve been the last person to receive the message. She walked out of the castle, and her mouth went slack with awe. Standing there before her was a giant troll. She took a few steps further toward it and looked around her. Other members were standing around it, calculating strategies and attacking. The troll was a staggering height. It was a deep purple, almost brown. Two long horns protruded from it's scalp, waiting to pierce them. This, would be a challenge.

Kaza’s impressive display did little to the Troll, if he was in fact a Troll; Talisen was starting to notice more of a demon intelligence in the beast than he first through, perhaps it was a demon in disguise… but why? Kaza’s blades simply bounced of the beast like its skin was made from snow, the creature howled in pain however as Sehkem’s blade sliced into its arm, it was superficial however, the magic had done the job, but the blade simply wasn’t strong enough. Talisen watched the creature, there was something wrong… The whole thing had an aura of deceit around it. It struck him like a blow to the head; he wasn’t a troll at all, even a half breed… Talisen moved forward and raised his hands; they began to pulse with a brilliant blue light. It was a spell any mage or witch would notice, but this every day disenchant spell was ferociously powerful. Talisen chanted softly and pointed at the beast, he looked surprised for a second, and slowly his body began to melt away. What was left was half the size of the troll a demon, with dark red skin that was made of stone, his long curved horns were sharp and his small round eyes blazed with hellfire. While the as powerful as the glamour of the troll, the demon was still something to be feared. It lifted the tree truck high above its head and swatted at Sehkem mercilessly.
“Dysis sooth the beast!”
Talisen had called out to the new arrival. The Glamour had been drawing a vast amount of energy into it to keep the charade up; it was unlike any glamour Talisen had ever seen before as the spell was actually granting the demon power. The loud bangs were actually an after effect of so much potent energy being drawn into the demon, but now that the sink had been removed Talisen could feel the castles magic barriers activate again, his soul and body were fundamentally linked to the castle Avalon, he could sense a tear in reality, the castles defences were hastily shutting them down, but he could feel souls had poured through before hand. Someone was trapped on the other side.
“Moridanu!”
Talisen called out in desperation,
“There’s a portal closing in the castle, a child has fallen through, I can’t create a portal to the same location without help, lend me your power!”
He said through gritted teeth, he knew that Moridanu would hesitate, her powers were vast and there was a possibility Talisen couldn’t handle it, but there was no other way. The Goddess Morrighan had granted Talisen power once a long time ago, it was what blinded him. Talisen opened himself up, it was up to Moridanu now, she would know exactly how to siphon some of her energy to Talisen, it was an old trick mages had been doing for centuries, but Moridanu was no ordinary witch. Talisen felt the energy, he felt the portal and widened it with his bare hands, breaking through the magical defences on the other side, he left it open for Moridanu to follow him.
Izzienbelle was knocked backwards with impressive force, she hadn’t been expecting the girl to through herself body and all at her. She roared in surprise and anger, her long serpentine lashed out at the nameless child, but her eyes were closed in pain and the air had been knocked out of her stomach, her long powerful tail connected with the side of Rayn’s head. Knocking the boy flat on his back in the rubble, unconscious. Izzienbelle laughed hungrily, she uncoiled herself to her full height and hissed dangerously at the nameless one. Not far from the girl, a small black opening appeared in thin air, like a tear in space, a man walked through, Talisen positioned himself in front of the girl, His hood had been removed, revealing long black hair that bristled with the suction of the portal. Around his eyes were small archaic patterns that looked like black and red tattoos, his large eyes were orbs of black and red swirls.
“Izzienbelle…”
He said almost sadly, she was his favourite student, and his betrayer.

*From her vantage point, perched on a branch high above the schools grounds, Moridanu watched as those below her did their best to defeat the Troll. As she watched, Talisen stepped up and began to perform a simple, yet effective spell that reduced the Troll to its more natural demonic size. While the demon was still terrifying, Moridanu was confident that they would be able to defeat it in its current state.
She was distracted from her thoughts by the sound of Talisens panicked tone as he called her name.
“There’s a portal closing in the castle, a child has fallen through, I can’t create a portal to the same location without help, lend me your power!”
Moridanus’ talons tightened around her branch as her dark raven eyes glinted with a cunning intelligence. While she trusted Talisen beyond reason, she could not help but be worried about lending him even a portion of her power. While Danu was more compassionate in such circumstances, Morrighan had been extremely direct when reminding Moridanu that she was in no position to offer the dark Goddess’ power to anyone else. Talisen had managed to convince her once before to fuse her power with his, and he had been blinded as a result. Although she could not help but worry for her oldest friend, she had to trust in his ability and her own to give him just enough power to open the portal.
Taking a deep breath, the raven released the branch from her talons as her large wings spread out and she launched herself into the sky. Zooming through the air, Moridanu flew down to where Talisen stood, her ebony wings beating faster and faster as she began to fly around Talisen. Her beating wings caused the fallen debris of leaves, twigs and small stones to rise from the ground beneath them and form a whirling mass of brown dirt flying around Talisen. The air through her wings, combined with the element of earth created just enough energy for her to fuse with the mini tornado in which Talisen now stood. If he opened himself up to her power, he would be able to absorb the energy. Though it was only a small portion of her power, Moridanu could feel Morrighans strength shifting within her and knew that she would be receiving a visit from her dark Mother some time soon. Until then, she could only hope that her power would be enough for Talisen to open the portal.
Within moments though, she knew that it had worked. The flying debris all but disappeared as Talisen absorbed all the energy that she had offered him. Seconds later, Talisen himself disappeared through a small portal that was just big enough for Moridanu to follow him. Cawing out loudly to the others who still remained to fight the demon, Moridanu then flew into the portal, following Talisen.
As soon as her raven form reached the other side of the portal, a deep sense of darkness began to erode her heart, and Moridanu shuddered as she shape shifted to her human form. The raven felt only a brief amount of pain as her feathers caught aflame and burned into the long auburn curls that clung to the head of Moridanu and tumbled down her back that was now hidden under her golden leather coat. As Moridanus boot clad feet touched the stone floor beneath them, Moridanu felt a sudden rush of intense hatred and rage.
~Talisen…~she breathed. ~Lucien…~ without completing the sentence she began to walk around the small room, leaving Talisen to deal with his student while she searched for any sign to prove that Lucien was indeed near. *

She was momentarily dazed from the impact, but not long enough for this horrid creature to take advantage of her. After smashing into it's stomach, she tucked and rolled to the side, avoiding being hit by the long tail. She heard a brief 'thud' before she turned to see Rayn's body crumpled on the floor and unconscious. Izzienbell was coiling up to her full height, far above her own stature, and hissed as if it were about to enjoy a nice meal. Ha, thats what you think. Just before she began to bum-rush the vile monster again, some sort of portal opened and out stepped a man with a woman right behind her. In such a state of deep thinking, she had not immediately registered that she recognized them from earlier in the day at school, but she always trusted her first thoughts, even if they didnt bring good news. Oh great, 3 against 1, and these two dont look like they're going to be pushovers.
She said a swift prayer to her brother, asking him to be with her while she fought for her life. It wouldn't be wise to try the woman first, she gave off quiet a different aura then the man did, and she knew that she very might well come to her fate. So she set her target on the man, because she might as well bring down what she can with her, even if it wasnt the disgusting creature at her back. Knowing all too well that every possible preparation has been done, she stanced her feet, held the daggers in her hands roughly 1 foot apart, and rushed towards the black haired man first.
The man spoke, a single word, almost sadly, but she hadnt been paying attention. Every thought and emotion in her mind was bent towards taking this guy down. Her speed was almost blinding. She had been trained to move fast, but it had never worked to quite this caliber before. The wind from her run made her dark tangled hair stick to her face which had condensated with sweat. Struggling to see, she brought her right arm back to give momentum to her swing, the sharp blade of her dagger aiming for the man's heart.
