Either A) post in the storm for your characters reaction to the explosion or B) post in the Tower for their reaction to arriving at the Tower. From my understanding B is more preferred since it will advance the story more.

I haven't died. The Tower post is 3/4 done and will be up right off to get the tower moving. Stupid noreaster...stupid woodstoves...stupid winter. If it's any consolation my arms fell off yesterday sometime and the typing just didn't happen.

Yes, I do. I miss them already. If I have to move another piece of wood- ever again- I'll simply spontaneously combust. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the exception of a couple of half hour breaks to thaw my blue hands and feet and take enough pain meds to face the blizzard outside, I slouched around in 2 feet of snow bringing in the massive woodpile. This is a multi step process. As I can't see on a good day and there was a blinding storm going on, the whole thing was carried out ungracefully. First, I crouched to undig the huge pile under the foot of snow already accumulating on it, then dragged, heaved and threw it closer to the front step. Then I stacked it as best as my frozen fingers would allowed on the front step, leaving the tiniest spot to put my foot in order to get back inside, in case I was called away and wanted to remember where I left it. Then I opened the door finally, letting in all kinds of snow, and heaved the stacked pieces into the kitchen. Occasionally, the snow formed such mountains in the kitchen it had to be swept back out again but thankfully the Spaz helped with that. At last there was stacking inside to be done before I returned to the great outdoors to continue with the woodpile. Though I started Tuesday, there's still a small heap out there waiting for me tomorrow. If I survive this headache and the body aches anyways. I just needed to unload. <>Sniff<> I'm miss autumn...spring...summer...goddess, anything but this!

Oh, please. That useless, stupid, smelly idiot does nothing. He has two jobs and is supposed to help with the woodstoves when he's home. 1. Go to the dump (I cleaned out the fridge, because he screamed at Mum about it, assuming he'd go. Ha. No.) and 2. Bring in the wood. He used to split the wood, but that was too much for him so this year we got it pre-split. Now he doesn't touch it. He also doesn't touch the woodstoves, except for his own which is in his hobby shop. He burns all that damn wood I brought in and then leaves with a pile still outside, never lifting a finger. Did I mention WE went to the dump? He couldn't manage that either. Apparently, as a trucker his only responsibilities in this world are to sit on his ass 5 days a week in his nice warm truck. Our only vehicle for home is busted and won't go any more than 20 miles from home...civilization is 30 miles from home. This will come as a shock, I'm sure, but he hasn't bothered to fix that either. <>Seethes and shovels the dod gamn driveway<> I hate winter...I hate winter...I hate winter...

*shakes her head in disgust*
What a lazy pig..
You know its strange how different our lives are.. I just pulled a muscle in my shoulder by carrying huge buckets of bath and shower water outside to water the lawn with so it stays a sickly green yellow instead of a crinkly dry and dead brown due to the worst drought in Australias history. BUT! There is HOPE!! Its currently raining and has been raining on and off all week, so hopefully some of it will fall in the dams so we can stop drinking recycled water. *crosses fingers and goes to play in puddles*
