There's a difference between having a small mind, and having a simple mind.

Small mind = Hey wait a minute... Was that an insult?
Simple mind = *Too busy playing solitaire to notice anything actually happening*

Now you're really getting into the plot.

Man, there is always an opening. You can do one of two things really...I appreciate this may cause a few issues with previous posts about the tower's current population; however, I feel everyone in the zombie plot would be thrilled to welcome someone into the pack who could claim, with enough back reading, to have been in one of the vehicles and now be living in the tower and getting initiated. You can also be all wild and crazy and dangerous and try to get there now...but that would cause an interesting stir as the zombies are pretty much on top of our tower at this point and unless the door fell off its hinges, it would be unlikely for Eli to open it. I'm not outright saying you aren't allowed to try, I'm just saying it wouldn't realistically be feasible. Not that a horde of the undead are overly realistic, mind you. You'd also get quicker interaction if you're up there already. Scan the past posts to see what's what and you'll get an idea of where you might fit in. I'll do what I can to help you find a spot.

Sweet!
Okay, I'll do some reading but could someone give me a quick recap on whats going on in general?
Could I have a character with a covert ops like background?

In general? Stray survivors are making it to the tower and barricading themselves in with whatever firearms they could raid from the Gun World shop while zombies close in on their location. Tension is high, and while the place has supplies, it's also pretty small and cramped, and there doesn't seem to be a ready exit in case the shit hits the fan. You can read more about the tower itself here. There are some non-player characters I've created which can be best described in this first post on page three. As far as anything else, just ask, but a quick read of the posts themselves would be more informative. I suppose so. Generally speaking, the theme is survival horror, so how you build your character can affect how they fit into the plot and how well they survive. You can view the profiles for a general feel of the characters involved, although I have to say I regret making my character have any combat skills.

One last question, are super soldiers out of the question and is it just normal humans (Well, as normal as one can be physically)?
Anyway, I might just get to use a character I never got to use..... hehehehe.

Super soldiers? Really, I suppose any character who is more superhuman than human may unbalance the RP. Having experience and even a weapon would fit the storyline, but having cybernetics, implants, super reflexes, etc. would make your character seem misplaced among a bunch of normal humans trapped in a tower.

Yeah, as Goobs stated, unless you're a Zombie, then youre a human.. a pretty simple everyday human who will have any experience that they may have gained during whatever life they may live that you want to give them. For example, theres nothing stopping your C from having served in the military, or to be a current soldier or police officer. In fact if you wanted to go down the route of playing a soldier that was dispatched to fight the zombies with the rest of his group but ended up lost.. etc.. that would fit in pretty well, if you dont want to take on one of the already established NPC's that is. Goobs gave you all the links to check out, so have fun reading it all and let us know which road you want to take and we shall make it so!
