The lots were absolutely filled and as people went too and fro about the maze leading up to the concert venue, Jax cruised into his normal lot and tipped his man Juan at the gate to turn a blind eye to his "dealings" while he was inside. Pulling the jet black, double-fat red-striped Skyline into the ground level area and parking in his typical parking spot.
This was no typical event, he had done many small time bands claiming to be big time but never drawing the sort of magnitude and chaos of a crowd as a band of the caliber of All-American Rejects. It made for the perfect shadow for his deals because all of the police would be busy in this area doing crowd control and keeping thousands of rowdy fans in line so they dont destroy the city. This also all meant that there would be many more prospective customers looking to get high before they had their minds blown. He had everything any of them could want and he had to admit the excitement building within him was palpable and he wasnt even here for the damn music. A stifled chuckle arose from him as he began to rifle through his inventory for the evening.
It wasnt long before the door swung open and Jax rose up from the interior, standing at his full height he was 6'3" and 225 lbs of pure-bred military trained muscle. He was intimidating, no denying that, but Jax was also a rather handsome man, chiseled features masked by his shaggy well-kept brown hair paired with piercing blue eyes to take away that buzz-cut bland military look. His attire consisted of a black t-shirt pulled tight to his rock hard frame and surrounded by a straight black leather jacket. He wore a pair of black cargo-style pants for purposes of his trade, these were held up by a black leather belt clasped at his waist by a silver wolf-head buckle that wasnt too large just enough to be noticable between his parted jacket. Infact, the only tell-tale sign about Jax's military history was the black, shined gunny boats fading into the rest of his mysterious get-up. His demeanor didnt even give clues to that hard trained soldier side, he casually would just lean up against the Skyline reaching into the pockets of his jacket and producing a fat joint and his lighter. He sparked the end, taking it deep before lowering it from his lips and holding that burn deep in his chest. With the exhale came the instant calm and the sense of everything going on around him. Unfortunately it came with the cheap, hacky tones of one of the opening bands, to which he made a sour face and placed the joint between his lips and leaned in putting "Prince" by the Deftones ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwxUgefMStM the actual song, get you in the mindset) on his system and turning to a volume where it could drown out the crap music and allow him peace while he smoked his joint waiting for his business to begin.
It wasnt too uncommon for people to arrive late, especially when the beginning talent was local and not very popular. It was this time that people normally ventured out to find people like him and get E, coke, weed, mescalyn, LSD, or mushrooms among various others. Jax had been on the small fry circuit for almost a year and he was looking to up his game, he had moved from small time events to larger moves like this one. He carried his D-Eagle with him now, tucked into the back of his waist band with extra clips in his pockets. This was in addition to the combat knife hidden at his side. Normally if things went smoothly, there was just random people who wanted to get fucked up before the show and he didnt even need to think about needing them. And this was how the day was going now, the hours before the main event waning down as he began to run lower on his product and heavy on cash. If anything could be said, it was rather boring, no hotties to really flirt with and no interesting or lasting impressions. He was almost itching for some excitement and as his eyes turned around the people moving towards the stadium, he was begging for something interesting.

*Caitlin cast an anxious glance at her reflection in the mirror. Her long blonde hair was pulled into two pigtails which hung long and glossy over shoulders that were clad in the loose, sheer white material that made up her long sleeve shirt which was only buttoned up enough to just hide the lacy cup of her red and black bra. The shirt was tied in a knot under her breasts, revealing her taut tan abs which were displayed above the waist band of the red, white and black short tartan skirt she wore. A matching tie hung loose around her neck, perfectly complimenting the knee high socks which completed the whole “sexy schoolgirl look” that she and Gigi had decided to go for tonight. It had seemed like a good idea at the time, but now as she gazed at herself in the full length mirror, Caitlin was suddenly apprehensive. She knew that she looked good; the problem was that she looked too good. She had never looked so sexy, and it made her feel slightly uncomfortable to think about the looks she might get from men at the concert. Although she was naturally beautiful, Cait had never been the type to show off. She was just about to go and get changed when the sound of Gigi knocking on the front door reached her ears.
Sighing deeply, Cait grabbed her black leather backpack and cropped black leather jacket and cast one last look around her studio/bedroom. The acceptance letter to the University of her choice was sitting on her bedside table and she felt her lips curve into a smile as her eyes came to rest upon it. Soon she would be free of this hell, free to live her life as she wanted. With a lighter heart, she closed the door firmly behind her and skipped down the stairs.
Gigi was waiting impatiently on the other side of the door, clad in a long trench coat. As Cait pulled open the heavy door to reveal her school girl attire, Gigi burst out laughing before letting out a long wolf whistle. ~So I’m guessing Mommy and Daddy dearest aren’t home this evening?~ Cait smiled and shook her head as Gigi quickly began unbuttoning the trench coat to reveal an outfit similar to Caits, this one featuring green tartan to complement Cait’s red.
~Yeah, Dad’s at the hospital and who know’s where the bitch is..~ Slamming the door behind her, Cait followed Gigi to her friends beat up yellow bug, climbing into the front seat and throwing her bag and jacket in the back seat.
Soon, the two friends were speeding down the road, slowing down only due to the large golden gates that separated her community from the rest of the world. With the All American Rejects blasting out of the bugs worn out speakers, the two friends giggled and shared gossip as they made their way to the concert, sharing tokes from Cait’s blue and gold pipe and singing along with their favourite band.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
An hour later, Cait was trailing behind Gigi as they made their way through the crowded lot. Reaching out, she tugged on Gigi’s sleeve, causing her friend to turn her red head towards her.
~Gi… are you sure about this? I mean.. I’ve got more than enough weed to last us the night.. I don’t know why we need to get anything.. else…~
Gigi rolled her eyes. ~Cait! For fucks sake live a little! It’s the fucking REJECTS! Tyson “fuck me now” Ritter is going to be singing to US in approximately ~she glanced at her watch ~45 minutes time! And I for one want to be completely tripping out when that happens!~ She smiled and rolled her eyes at the look on Caitlin’s face. ~Babe, chill. I know this guy, and he has good shit! He hooked me up a few weeks back at the Blink concert. I’m pretty sure Brad said he was around here somewhere..~ she turned her attention back to scanning the crowd. ~Yep! There he is..~ Gigi reached back and grabbed Caitlin’s hand, dragging her behind her.
Caitlin trailed after Gigi, her leather jacket tied around her waist while her backpack bounced against her back. The four cones she had smoked on the ride to the concert had left her pleasantly buzzed, and she was doubtful that she would need any further drugs to get her through the rest of the evening. But Gigi was right – they were less than an hour away from seeing Tyson live and an excited grin crossed her lips as Gigi came to a stop in front of a man dressed in black.
Caitlin’s green eyes locked with a pair of eyes so blue she was instantly mesmerised. Gigi quickly started the banter while Caitlin just stood there, pretending that she did this kind of thing all the time. She tried to stand there, looking casual, but she had a hard time dragging her eyes away from the handsome man standing in front of them.*

An hour and a half into the dealings and his prayer for something alittle less droll than these nervous wrecks he was dealing with at every stop. So many people so worked up about buying a little fun they wanted to just grab and go, it wasn't to say that a lot of people he wanted to talk to but; he had wanted something to perk up these slow going hours. After all, he was a people person and his charisma was what had spread his piece of this business from doing small clubs downtown to the big venues he was doing now.
The day had proven to be warmer than he thought it would in the late spring months and even as the sun drifted lower and lower below the horizon the temperature still stayed pretty mild. He decided it was a little too warm to have his jacket on and so he removed the heavy leather from around his shoulders and placed it inside of his car before returning to leaning against his black beauty and watching those fans pass by on their way to the concert. His physique could be more easily seen with his jacket now removed, his arms sculpted and well maintained. Two tattoos were rather apparent on his arms, one on his left a Gothic cross wrapped slightly around his forearm and on his right the squad emblem from his time in the military high on his shoulder. The unmistakable shape of dog tags imprinted from below his black shirt, the steel links of balls wrapped around his neck disappearing behind his shaggy brown hair. He pulled his shirt quickly out of his waistline to cover up the D-Eagle in his waistline along with the combat knife. He settled comfortably against the car once again and crossed his arms across his chest as he casually watched the people once again.
It wasn't long after he had made his wardrobe change, half-way through his second joint, that his eyes drifted over to the sounds of giggles coming closer to him, a pearl white smile crept his face as he saw a familiar face in Gigi. He continued to smile as he greeted her and spoke with her for a moment before his eyes drifted over to Cait and his words trailed when his blues met those greens. "Yeah, Brad has always been good for passing my locale by word-of-mouth. Motherfucker could get me in trouble but I hope my trust in his judgment doesn't fuck me over later. I am not really the person you want knocking on your front fuckin' door in anger. Anyway, who is...."
It was like an instant stoppage of words, nothing could come out from him when their eyes met and yet he felt filled with something..words..emotion...He didn't know what he was exactly feeling at the moment but the smile that had faded came back twice as bright as he leaned back against the car and regained his composure. His eyes never left her as he spoke up once again.
"I do not believe I have met your friend Gigi but good god do I want to. " He gave a slight chuckle and stood up from the car, moving alittle closer to Cait as he did so, not so much to cause discomfort but enough for her to "catch his scent" literally and figuratively. "The name's Jackson, or Jax and just let me say that I am here to provide you with anything you want and with those eyes I am afraid of losing profit." He gave her another suave smile and a wink before he turned back to Gigi.
"So whats the poison this time Gigi? Some X again? Looking to see the lead singer in a "different" light eh?" He wiggled his eyes brows in a sarcastic gesture before chuckling again. "Also got a bit of chocolate mescalyn, very popular back in the seventies. Mix it or just lick it like Fun-Dip, it will make you see colors that aren't there. And of course it tastes like chocolate. So whats it going to be?"
He tried to settle back into his persona as he leaned back against the Skyline again but he felt his eyes going back to Cait. He wasn't ever the believer in love-at-first-sight or really true love of any kind but the way she had stopped him cold without a word made him think it over. It may seem something sexual and he wished he could explain it away with such simple words and it was true, she was drop dead sexy and flaunting it to boot. He had noticed every curve and form of her in his first look but he was continuously drawn up to those eyes, if this wasn't the answer to his boredom then he didn't know what was.

*Cait stood awkwardly behind Gigi, one hand on her slender hip as she tried to look nonchalant while praying that nobody would happen by and bust them. She had always scored her weed from the same guy and had never done a drug deal out in the open like this before. Confident in Gigi’s ability to talk the talk, she merely stood there; nodding when it seemed appropriate and smiling what she hoped was a confident smile as her green eyes were still locked on those amazing baby blues.
Her smile lost some of its confidence however as she realised that this Adonis was now talking to her. Gulping, she tried desperately to look away from him, but she was unable to do anything except stand there, trapped in his sights and gazing at him in wonder as he stepped forward and began to flirt outrageously with her. Normally, she would have fled and hid. Instead, with the bravery that only good weed could provide she smiled at him and batted her thick dark lashes at him.
~Nice to meet you… Jax..~ she said his name slowly, savouring the feel of it on her tongue. ~I’m Cait.. and you already know Gigi..~ She giggled and felt her cheeks blushing as he commented on her eyes. ~Hmmm.. does that mean we might get a discount? Of course, there is always other ways to pay instead of money you know…~
Gigi turned to bug her eyes at Cait as if to say “What the hell has got into you!?!” before she turned back to Jax. ~Yeah we were hoping for some more E, that was great shit I got from you last time. But this chocolate stuff sounds good, don’t it Cait?~
Cait blinked stupidly. ~Err.. yeah.. us girls.. we LOVE chocolate.. and licking things..~ She left her words hanging in the air, determined not to run and look for the nearest hole to swallow her up and instead pretended that her words had been intended to flirt with him. Still, she could not drag her eyes away from him until Gigi started poking her hard in the side. ~What??!~ she hissed at Gigi.
Gigi rolled her eyes. ~For fucks sake Cait, get your head out of the clouds and focus on the business at hand will ya?! You got the money?~Cait rolled her own eyes back at her friend. ~Of course..~ she shrugged out of her backpack and pulled out her red Prada purse.
~How much?~ she whispered to Jax, looking around for a cop to pounce on her the minute she opened her purse. *

A constant eye remained on every movement Cait made, his whole sense devoted to simple receiving all the signals she was sending to him. It was amazing how things could go from completely empty to a pure chaos of something so intoxicating it makes you want to fall over. But he remained in that calm demeanor he had not only developed over his life but honed in his years of service.
Some of the things she said left him paralyzed and for short periods of time he was unable to come up with something smooth and concise to say. But he was constantly surprised and saved by the constant surprise of Gigi who seemed to be abit put off by how her friend was acting. He had to admit that this was all quite amusing to him as he watched the back and forth between the waves of heat Cait sent through him with her flirting. And though inside all was chaos, on the outside there was only a cool smile and unwavering eyes on her as she spoke.
It was not till her purse was revealed to him that he had sort of a deep revelation on what this moment entailed. He realized now that this green-eyed beauty was a child of privilege and a sort of pride in her came over him. Slightly nervous but brave and forward enough to flirt with him in this manner and while he was armed. Something became more within him, he suddenly wanted to know more about who this Cait was, and what she was about. And so he took out a small pad of paper he used to determine his cut and wrote a local address down upon it.
He made a gesture, waving off her purse. "The fun tonight, is on me ladies. And this is on one condition" He gestured with his pointer finger and then pointed at Cait. "You have to make some time to come party at my boss's. Tonight at this address." He dropped the piece of paper down into Cait's purse with a smile before he turned and leaned into the open window of his car, the back of his shirt coming up, among things of noting visibly his well toned back end and the .357 Magnum Semi-Automatic D-Eagle now visible in the back of his waistband.
He would finally lean back up and out of the car, producing a tab of X for them both and a hit of chocolate mescalyn each. He turned with the goods hidden in his hand moved in close to Cait as if embracing her. He whispered softly in her ear, "Its less suspicious if we look like we are good friends." Was it necessary? No, brave and daring would be words he would choose himself to describe the actions he had taken in that moment but as one hand wrapped around her in a hug, his other hand dropped the product in her purse before he drew back with a smile.
"Its safely in there. Don't forget about me once you are tripping ass in there. Just remember to have fun." He chuckled as he returned to leaning on the car. "Anything else before the concert begins?"
This wasn't something he normally did but something about Cait made him bolder, made him just more of everything. It was like a thousand different feelings all fighting for control of what he was going to do and somehow still guiding him in sweeping, confident movements without missing a hitch. The ease of his ability to remain calm was one of his better attributes and it made obtaining his objective always a possibility and tonight he had only one thing in mind and she was standing not four feet from him.

*A slender pale brow shot up in surprise as he scribbled something onto a piece of paper and dropped it into her purse. As he told them the fun was on him tonight, but at a price, Cait shot Gigi a look which her friend promptly returned. Gigi then grinned and shrugged.
~Hey, a party is a party.. right?~
Cait nodded uncertainly as Jax turned around to get something from his car. Her eyes drifted down to take in the sight of his toned back and she felt her mouth go dry as she licked her lips in appreciation. Gigi noticed Cait’s reaction but was elbowing her friend in the ribs again. Cait went to ask “What??!” before she noticed the gun tucked into the back of Jax’s pants. Before she could respond however, he had turned around and embraced her, taking her completely by surprise. His breath was warm against her ear and she trembled in his embrace as he spoke about the need to make it look natural as he deposited the drugs into her bag. For a moment she thought he was about to kiss her, but then he had pulled away and was back to leaning nonchalantly against his car.
Gigi’s eyes were practically bugging out of her head when Cait turned to look at her, and she giggled as she looked back at Jax.
~Oh trust me.. we won’t forget you… especially if you come inside with us?~
The suggestion for him to join them had taken her as much as surprise as Gigi when it had popped out of her mouth, but Cait knew beyond anything else that she wanted to spend a lot more time with this guy. The fact that Tyson Ritter was now only twenty minutes away from them, made her desire to stay with Jax all the more interesting and she grinned as the thought of grooving to the Rejects while tripping out with a hunk like Jax flashed into her head. Emboldened by the weed she had smoked earlier and the obvious attraction Jax felt for her, Cait stepped up to him and reached out her hand.
~If we are supposed to look like we are good friends, wouldn’t good friends go to a concert together? After all.. this chocolate stuff is new to us you know.. shouldn’t you keep a close eye on us for some kind of.. quality control or something?~ she bit her bottom lip while she twirled a pony tail as she waited for his answer.*

He was a firm believer that things sometimes happened for reason beyond mortal understanding, like a higher power rearranging the universe for your pleasure or pain and it wasn't hard to understand the realm he was in right now. His eyes met the form of Cait at her question but drifted away as he went through what he had left and how dangerous it was to leave where he was.
Realizing how close it was to show time and the lack of people coupled with the fact that he had not much product left in any shape or form. He gave a smile, directing it in whatever power it could hold towards Cait as the door of his car opened and he safely stored away the rest of his stash, his cash, and the D-Eagle from his waistband. He then rolled up the windows in the Skyline and stepped out closing the door. He clicked his remote twice to activate his alarm system, he motioned for a moment of time before pulling out his phone and sending a text to one of his friends about keeping an eye out on his car while he chilled.
"Alright then, if we have to make this that convincing lets go get fucked up and enjoy a concert." He chuckled and held out his arms for both of them to take, once he had both of them in tow, he led them across the street to the entrance of the venue, now slowly dwindling as everyone settled into the area awaiting the main event to start. He led them up to the gates and purchased a ticket and continued on into the stadium.
It was quite odd for him to feel this at ease with such a public situation, but the anxiety he was taught to feel slipped from his mind at just the presence of this enthralling chick. A thousand words came to his mind when he looked at her coupled with the tunes of a thousand songs playing the soundtrack to life. If he was honest he wasn't too crazy about AAR, but he could enjoy and he could enjoy even more with Cait being there in this moment. Inside the setup was impressive and the crowd was never ending see of faces eagerly awaiting what the techs were currently working on.
He helped pave the way in front of them turning to Cait as they begun to make their way through a thicker part of the crowd, "Hold onto me, have Gigi hold onto you." He took her hand and placed at his side so that they could keep track of each other. He then moved them quickly and swiftly to one of the rails making a separation between the stage and the crowd. Once they had stopped before the rail, the lights turned out and he let Cait move in front of him to have the view uninhibited from the rail. When the first chord of a sound check rang out, you would have thought the concert had started, the crowd surged forward and he quickly grabbed the rails on either side of Cait guarding her from being squished against the rail. He realized now, going into the beginning of this, he essentially had his arms around her though not touching her and their bodies were dangerously close. It was a point of trying to be impressive that he had brought them here and now something that is normally an annoyance during concerts became something that he was thoroughly enjoying.

*It was all she could do not to scream out “YES!” she was so stoked by his answer. While she waited for him to close up shop so to speak, Gigi quickly rummaged through Cait’s purse and pulled out the E, before handing half of it to Cait.
Grinning at her best friend Gigi let out her familiar ~Yippee kaiay motherfuckers!~ before she popped it in her mouth, motioning for Cait to do the same. Cait followed suit quickly before she would have time to think and Gigi let out a loud ~Yeehaw! That’s my girl.~ just as Jax returned and offered them both an arm.
Wrapping her thin arms around his brawny one, Cait felt instantly euphoric either as a result of the drugs in her system or at the touch of this hunk of a man she now walked beside. Soon, they were inside the concert, and she nodded silently as she followed his directions and kept one hand on him and one on Gigi. The faces around her began to blur and the lights above her seemed to dance in time with her thumping heart as they made their way through the crowd. Suddenly they had stopped at a rail separating the stage from the crowd and she was instantly aware of the crowd surging forward as a few strains of music hit her ears. She had a momentary panic attack, but was saved from being squashed by the strong frame of the man standing behind her.
As she realised that he was now pressed up against her back, she leant back so that her head was resting on his chest as she smiled up at him. The E was having the desired effect, and she was well on her way to being pleasantly fucked up. Gigi and the concert were forgotten for a moment as her green eyes locked with his brilliant blue ones again. The feel of his hot, hard body behind her, combined with the euphoria racing through her system was more than she could stand and before she was aware of what was happening, she had turned her head and tilted up enough so that her lips could find his. She kissed him with a passion that mirrored the wave of sheer ecstasy racing through her entire being and slipped her tongue into his waiting warm mouth. She grinned into the kiss as her tongue found his before the unmistakable opening strains of “Dirty Little Secret” boomed out around them. Forgetting the kiss, she pulled away screaming ~FUCK YEAH!!~ as she turned around to look for Gigi. Gigi was standing on the other side of Jax’s brawny shoulders, her eyes heavy lidded as she grinned over at Cait. ~TYSON!!!~ she screamed at Cait who responded by sticking out her tongue and making the hard rock sign with her index and little finger.
Together the two friends began to scream along in time with Tyson as he sang, Cait’s body subconsciously grinding against Jax’s as she danced in place.
~I’’ll keep you my little dirty secret.. don’t tell anyone.. one day you’ll be just another regret.. hope that you can keep it.. my dirty little secret… who has to know??!~*

The atmosphere was electric and as things began to rise up to the band entrance, he could feel everyone becoming ever more restless around him. It was a quickly forgotten observation as she leaned back against him, those devilishly sexy green eyes peering up at him as he held the barrier around her. It felt odd, if she had been an enemy she had only to grab the combat knife at his waist and gut him but as it normally would be this way, he felt like he was doing something to protect her.
No more did the feeling that he could do nothing but hold his position become apparent until she turned around and kissed him so full, he didn't know if it was the drugs that made her do this or if it was her own will. He knew that both were providing to the moment but it was hard to take away from the situation as he didn't want to read into it too much. But it was a passing thought as he fell into enjoying the kiss, kissing her back where he could before she split from him at the sound of one of the hit songs. He felt weak and yet solid as a steel wall at the same time, like he wanted to let go and be enveloped by his surroundings. He didn't of course because he would literally be taken in by the crowd along with her. Instead he enjoyed it as she danced and went crazy to the music, but he heard nothing. It was all just background to his own thoughts pounding like a thousand drums in his head. It was all he could do to just enjoy the moment as she enjoyed the concert.
He had to admit that the weed he had smoked was helping him with the relaxing in the crowd and with her in this moment but he could also admit that he couldn't wait to get the hell out of this place and away from the inconceivable noise to just spend that time with her. He had no idea why he was in this moment, it wasn't that he wasn't happy about it, it was just so unreal..surreal even. All of these feelings were something very alien to him, like something completely new washing over his entire person.

*Two hours later, and fuelled by the delicious chocolate “candy” Jax had supplied them with earlier, Gigi and Cait were satisfyingly mind fucked and ready to leave. Gigi was beside herself that Tyson had been close enough to drip sweat on her, while Cait was already forgetting about the concert as her mind turned to the remainder of the night ahead with Jax. As she followed him out of the concert hall, her hand firmly held in his, she worried that he would simply dump them outside the door and carry on with his business from earlier. She hadn’t been fooled into thinking that he had gone inside due to his love for the Rejects, if anything he had looked slightly pained by the music. But he had kept his stance as her personal body guard during the concert and she shivered as she remembered the few kisses and groping sessions they had enjoyed during the slower sets.
Once they were outside, the cool air felt good against their flushed skin and Cait slowed down to turn and look at Gigi. Her friend did not look well, despite the look of sheer ecstasy on her face and Cait turned a worried face towards Jax.
~Uh.. she doesn’t look very good..~
Gigi waved a hand at Cait. ~Don’t be stupid .. I’m fine.. I have Tyson sweat on me.. I swear I aint gonna wash this arm for a …~she covered her mouth just in time before racing for a nearby garbage can and throwing up the contents of her stomach all over discarded cans and fast food containers.
Cait made a face at Jax before taking up the obligatory position beside her friend, rubbing her back. After a few minutes, Gigi’s green face appeared over the top of the bin and Cait discreetly held her nose as she took a few steps away.
~Gi.. you look like shit..~
Gigi groaned ~My God.. I knew I shouldn’t have eaten that guy’s burger! But it looked so good.. ~ she trailed off as another wave of nausea hit her, but this time she managed to keep her food down.
After a few minutes, she waved Cait away. ~I’m gonna head to the girl’s room and get cleaned up.. you.. uh… find out where we are headed next..~
Despite Cait’s protests, Gigi hobbled away and Cait watched with worried eyes until she saw her bestie disappear into the nearby ladies room. Making her way back to Jax, she smiled shyly, despite her earlier displays of brazen lust.
~So.. uh… she is just going to go and get cleaned up. Must be that burger she ate.. I did tell her not to. ~ she laughed before tugging on one of her pigtails nervously. A cold breeze blew up and she shivered, reaching down to untie the leather jacket from her waist before slipping it on. Hugging herself she finally looked up at Jax, once again becoming mesmerised by his electric piercing blue eyes. Shivering again, this time by more than just the cold breeze, Cait chewed nervously on her bottom lip, the memory of their most recent kiss still heavily on her mind. She was about to lean in towards him for another kiss when Gigi appeared by her side.
~Uh.. one sec?~ Gigi asked Jax before pulling Cait away. ~Listen babe, I gotta head out. I feel like my head is going to cave in and I’m gonna ralph again soon..~
Despite her disappointment at saying goodbye to Jax, Cait nodded in sympathy. ~That’s okay.. I’ll just say goodbye and we’ll split. You okay to drive?~
Gigi shook her head and then winced at the sudden movement. ~Yeah, I’m okay to drive myself home. My place is closer than yours anyway.. so it won’t take me long. And no.. you are not going to say goodbye.. to him. You are going to hug me and tell me you love me and help me find my car so I can go home and die while you spend the rest of the night fucking that guy every way imaginable. And then you are going to call me tomorrow and tell me all about it, okay?~
Caitlin’s eyes popped out of her head as she turned around quickly to see if Jax had heard Gigi. ~Gi!!~ she hissed. ~Shhhh! He will hear you! And no.. there is no way in hell… I mean… yeah, I wouldn’t mind getting to know him better.. but.. NO! You know I’ve never…~ she trailed off as a blush rose to her cheeks.
~Yeah well, what better way to start?!~ Gigi laughed before making her way back to Jax, dragging Caitlin along after her. ~Say, Jaxman.. You gonna be okay to make sure my girl gets home safe? I gotta split and I don’t wanna rain on this here parade… looks like the two of you have still got some fun in ya, so no need to end the night on my account. Just help me find my car?~
Cait looked up at Jax, shrugging helplessly as she trailed after Gigi. Soon her friend was safely in her beat up yellow bug, and Cait slammed the driver’s door shut after promising to call Gigi as soon as she was able to. As she watched her friend drive away, Cait was achingly aware that she was now completely alone in the big city with a man she hardly knew who carried a gun and sold drugs. Her preppy friends would never believe it if she told them, and she shivered as she realised she was quickly sobering up. Determined not to waste the opportunity standing before her in all his manly glory, Caitlin put on a brave smile and gazed up at Jax.
~So, I guess the night is ours then… where to now?~*

It wasn't such a bad experience music wise, not his preferable set of music but he definitely didn't feel like poking his ear-drums out. Her reaction to him was something else entirely, to say he had no other female attention in his life would be a complete lie but this wasn't something that was normal to him and therefore, for him, it was extraordinary in every sense of the word.
When it came time for them to leave, he happily escorted them out and stayed close by as Gigi had her little episode, you might expect that he would feel bad for such things being the one whom had fucked her up but he didn't mind really one way or the other. His customers knew that his shit was legit and safe, he wasn't at fault or issue if they went and had too much. Perhaps a cold position to take but it was one of the philosophies of his life and it had kept him alive on the streets since a child. He instead took a step back and let Cait do her thing for comforting her friend as he watched people passing by here and there. He only paid attention when Gigi spoke to him.
"I guarantee her safety. I will not leave her side until she is safely tucked away.." He gave a small chuckle at the comment and continued along helping them to find Gigi's car so that she could make it home for some much needed rest. He waved her off just before turning to look at Cait when she asked him where they were to go. He could smile alittle for he knew where they had to go now but was anticipating what would follow. It wasn't that he was sure she was going to have sex with him, he just wanted to know if she would even want to stay alone with him after she was sober. He gave a smile and took her hand gently, walking towards his car. He opened the door and allowed her to get in before he closed the door and hopped into the driver's side. He turned to her before he even put the key in the ignition.
"I want you to know, what has happened tonight and what may happen tonight. This isn't normal for me. I thought it was important for you to hear that." He wasn't sure if he wanted to have deep meaning or if it was a reassurance of him not just having his way with her and then leaving her on the street corner; or expecting anything in the first place. In the realm of truth, both of these things would have been true. But he shook the thought from his head and put that entrancing smile back on his face as he looked at her again.
"Anyway, I have to go to this party my boss in throwing. Got to drop his cut, ya know? But if its a drag then we can split and chill at my place if you want. Feel it out once we get there and let me know." He gave her a reassuring smile before starting the car's engine. He shook his head for a moment and turned to her again, "And yes, this is a drug lord's manor. Keep that in mind while we are there and mind your ps and qs. When all else fails, stay close and I promise I will keep you safe." He gave her a wink and pulled the tuner out of the ramp quick and smooth.
They drove across the city and hopped onto the freeway leading out towards the suburbs. The closed in spaces and endless day of the city faded away as business became sparse and beautiful homes began. They had traveled only a few minutes on the freeway before he exited into a more rich area of the suburbs, only a few choice houses were out here and each was gated off and some were even tended to by private security forces. The one they happened to pull up to, had such a force. Jax stopped short of two men in three-piece suits and while one stepped in front of the vehicle with his hand gripping the SMG that Jax knew he had hidden under his overcoat. The second man, a tall, intimidating black man whom approached the window with a very stern look on his face until Jax rolled down the window and he broke down into laughter. "Sarge, whats going down with ya tonight?" Jax just smiled at the man and shook his hand before responding.
"Just got done pushing the AAR concert. Made a killin', Three Dog will be pleased." The man just smiled shaking his head, pounded his fist with Jax before looking across the way at Cait. "My my, whose this? Sarge has a girlfriend...From an AAR concert?.." Jax just chuckled alittle bit before pushing the man through the window in a playing gesture. "Get out of here man, I have to talk to the boss." The man motioned to the other guard before he moved from the car and opened the gate. Jax pulled the car through the gate and the manor came into view, the circle driveway was filled with beautiful sports cars and the marble pillars of the front of the manor were alight in different colors while the steady thump-thump base of rap drifted from the inside. He turned to her once they had parked and smiled.
"That's my buddy Jay. Always giving me shit. Gave me the nickname "Sarge" too, stuck so much just about everyone here will refer to me as it. Hard as hell to get anyone but my father to call me Jax. Anyways, could you hand me the gun and money in the glove compartment there?"

*Soon she was sitting in Jax’s car, her eyes discreetly taking in the interior and any possible clue she could find to tell her more about the man who had just climbed into the drivers seat. Her green eyes widened with shock as he seemed to find it necessary to tell her that whatever was happening between them tonight, wasn’t normal for him. Cait smiled softly.
~I’m glad to hear that Jax… I must admit.. this definitely is more of a Gigi move, than a Cait thing… I’m normally the one shouting at her to be more sensible and to stop and think. Yet here I am in a car with a stranger who has a …~ she trailed off as she realised she had been about to mention his gun. She didn’t think that he had noticed her noticing it before, and she wasn’t sure that she wanted him to know that she knew he had one. Not just yet anyway. Instead, she hastily recovered by added ~really nice car..~ to her sentence before falling silent as he started the car.
As he drove, she replayed his last sentence in her head. He had mentioned taking her to a party and then possibly going back to his place. To chill. Cait had no idea what TO CHILL meant, but the thought of being alone with Jax at his place caused her to break out in a cold sweat. The truth of the matter was that she was just a kid, and yeah, while she may look like a young sexy beast on the prowl, in reality she was a little kid dressed up in big girl clothes. Cait turned her head to look out the window as he drove in silence, her own silence signalling the thousands of thoughts that were now running through her worried mind.
While she stared out the window, buildings and scenery began to take shape and she blinked in shock as she sat up straighter. Why the hell was he taking her home already? Was it something she had said? Shaking her head slightly, she realised that he couldn’t be taking her home as he had no idea where she lived. Yet, here he was driving up the same street that she drove up every day. Realisation slowly dawned on her as she remembered he had said they were going to a drug lords party. She had never guessed in a million years that the neighbours who her parents tried so hard to impress could be low life criminals. Unable to wipe the smirk of irony of her full soft pink lips, Cait turned her head to watch Jax as he drove.
He was undeniably handsome, and as she watched him quietly her thoughts turned again to what possibly waited for her if they did indeed go back to his place TO CHILL. Shivering, Cait wrapped her arms around herself as they pulled up to a driveway.
Cait sat quietly, smiling when she felt appropriate as the man called Jax “Sarge” and Cait “Sarge’s girlfriend” before letting them in. She nodded at Jax as he explained the nickname.
~Sarge? Sounds like you were in the army or something..?~ was all she could think to say. ~My friends call me Dab..~
She blanched as he asked her to get the money and the gun from the glove compartment. Money she could deal with, hell with a life like hers it meant nothing to her. But a gun was an entirely different matter. Determined not to look like the scared little girl she was, Cait put on a brave face as she reached forward and popped the button of the glove compartment. She felt her already short tartan skirt slide even higher up her tanned thigh and she made to pull it down before her eyes locked on the gun that was now revealed in the open glove compartment. Gulping, Cait reached out and grabbed the wad of money in one hand and the gun in the other. Handing them both quickly to Jax, she wiped her hands down her thighs, pulling down the hem of her skirt as she did so. Reaching down for her backpack, she quickly pulled out her small silver tin, pipe and lighter.
~Uh do you mind if I have a quick toke before we go in?~ she asked, her voice shaky. Without waiting for an answer, she took out her pipe and popped the tin open. After expertly packing a nice tight cone, she took a long deep pull before offering the pipe to Jax. ~You want some?~ she asked, exhaling slowly.*

Jax's eyes were glued to her as she leaned forward to retrieve what he had asked for, but it was more looking over her then checking her out. He was trained to recognize anything about a person that might indicate their state without a word. Not only had it been something he grew up to recognize but it was something that earned him his stripes when he was in the Army. He chuckled as he took the money and the gun from her and placed the money in his pocket, the gun was tucked into inside pocket of his coat.
He waved off her offer for the took graciously, smiling at her as he did so. Instead he took out another joint from his pocket and lit it. He then stepped out from the car and stepped over to her door to allow her to get out. Leading her to the walk way he would stride slowly along side her as he looked over at her.
"There is no pressure here Cait. These are not all criminals here, there are normal folks from this neighborhood mixed with associates of the boss. My father is Three Dog's lieutenant in the gang, its the only reason we passed by the gate and the only reason we can enter through those doors. As for what this night holds, I am not going to force you. When you say take me home, I will grab the car door for you. Enjoy this, not everyday this sort of thing happens right?" He gave her that trademark smile in a pause before he continued. "As for making sure I am honorable enough to keep my words, and I guess to settle your question about my service, I am former US military and a Sgt. to boot. I have protected your life before you knew I existed and so I promise now that you will only have pleasant memories about this night. Loosen up and go with the flow."
He gave her a chuckle and a smile again before he continued on with her to the door, inside a DJ was set up on one side of the enormous living room while people mingled and drank about the floor. He continued to hit the joint without worry about the others about the house. It wasn't long before they were approached by another guard in a three-piece suit, a short conversation amongst the loud music between Jax and the man and he motioned for her to follow them as they rounded the stairs going towards the second floor.
They were led into a room where a few scandalously dressed women were sitting amongst two older looking gentlemen. One was a white man about 55 and essentially an older looking flabby version of Jax; not too hard to tell that this man was his father. The other was an older black man with a Jamaican accent, dressed in fine quality and carrying himself like the kingpin; which wasn't something too hard to tell by a glance. Jax would move forward and put the money on the table before the man known as Three Dog.
"Made a good profit today Three Dog. The AAR concert was a gold mine." Three Dog would chuckle as he looked through money taking Jax's cut out and handing it to him. The dark eyes of the drug lord would then take in Cait before glancing back up at Jax. "Somebody you met at the concert?"
"Yes, This is Cait. Cait this is my boss Three Dog and my father Thomas Nord." The smiles and nods were of approval but it was his father whom spoke up first. "Seems a bit young for you son, but the old man's opinion isn't going to really affect that is it?" Jax just smiled in a bit of arrogance as if to say damn right..

*She nodded and shrugged as he politely refused her offer of a toke, before lighting up her pipe and sucking it dry while she watched him light the fattest joint she had seen in a while. Time seemed to speed up for a moment; one minute they were sitting in the car sharing a smoke and the next they were walking up the driveway of a large house that looked just like any others in this part of the neighbourhood. HER neighbourhood.
As she passed the rows of expensive cars parked outside, the sight of a custom painted violet Porsche 911 caused her to stop dead in her tracks, just at the moment Jax was talking about the mixture of people that would be present at the party. He said there were “normal folks from the neighbourhood” mixed with more not so normal folks she guessed, but the sight of that car made her heart drop into the pit of her stomach. She shook her head slightly. No… it couldn’t be..
She was distracted from her train of thought as Jax was still talking and she tried to listen to him as she hurried to keep up with him. She blushed slightly as he spoke of what the night could hold and nodded gratefully as he promised not to force her into anything she did not want to do. ~Thanks..~ she mumbled, but he appeared to not have heard her as he was still talking about being honourable. Her eyes widened as he spoke about serving in the military and protecting her even before he had known her. His words, combined with the cone she had just smoked caused her to just mumble ~Woah~ in response as she followed him inside.
She tried to be discreet as she looked around, her eyes practically bugging out of her head when she recognised her dentist and the woman that walked her neighbours dog in the crowd. She stumbled behind him as she followed him into another room where two older gentlemen were holding court over a group of scantily clad women. The women were in various stages of being strung out, one in particular clad in only a red dress that was more or less a negligee. Caitlin nearly screamed in shock as the woman lifted her blonde, green eyes the same shade as Caitlin’s but significantly more glazed over seemingly trying to focus on Cait. Cait quickly side stepped so she was practically hiding behind Jax as he spoke to the two men, poking her head out to nod at both of them as Jax introduced her. She winced as he said her name, hoping the women was too fucked up to even register it.
~Uh.. hi.. nice to meetcha..~ she murmered before popping back behind Jax. She pressed her body up against his, her whole body trembling enough for him to feel it. Standing on tiptoe, Cait whispered in Jax’s ear. ~What the fuck is my mother doing here?!?~ *

Jax wasnt quite sure what was happening in that moment, her reaction was something he had not expected and now he deliberated in his mind whether or not she was scared. When she finally leaned up and whispered in his ear, his eyes went wide with what he heard obviously not expecting what came out of her mouth. His eyes quickly scanned for the woman whom looked closest to Cait and upon finding her, his eyes went back to his father and his boss.
"Well, I am pretty exhausted from the sales and the concert. I think I might just cut out and chill at home." He tried to sound casual about it but he knew both of them would know something was troubling him, the only question was whether or not they would let him slide for the favor of a good time.
"Yeah, I would say with this turn-out, I owe you that. Go have some fun of your own." Three Dog mused as he peeked at him curiously over his shades.
He tried hard not to hold his breath in anticipation of what would be said and when his boss had said his piece, he tried not to let that breath go. He simply smiled in the face of his very irritated looking father as he spun un place to make sure Cait was not visible and then with his hands gently on her hips walked with her out the door.
"Lets get the hell out here, I swear I didnt know that was your mom." He didnt want to say that he now remembered seeing her mother here a few times before this and wasnt sure if it was something in his place to mention. All that comforted him through not telling her was that if she were to ask, he would tell the truth.
Instead, Jax led her through the masses and back out the front door of the manor, making their way down the stairs to where the cars were parked in a neat circle. He would open the passenger's side door for her before closing it and getting into the drivers seat. He would adjust himself in his seat and when he leaned forward to put the key in the ignition he would pause and look over at her.
"So, do you want me to take you home?" It was the fundamentally complete question in this situation. Jax couldnt deny that he didnt want this night to end, but then again in his mind he would be satisfied with what had happened so far.
