The Hellmouth OOC

Yo Dudes and Dudettes,

You may notice in the random section there's a new Thread entitled 'Welcome to the Hellmouth, Part 1" This is a new project of mine that I hope everyone likes and attracts a few people! Basically it's all set in the Buffyverse after series 7, so there are many slayers running around, A Watchers Council is slowly being rebuilt by a Mr. Rupert Giles. There's a New York branch of Wolfram and Hart, and a smallish Hellmouth that was recently discovered in the small town of Venus in Upstate New York, where our action takes place.

Nobody will play the actually characters in Buffy, but I'm sure our characters would have heard of a few of them, especially Giles, Buffy and Angel. The Characters you can make are up to you, Slayers (has to be a girl), Demons, Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Warlocks and Watchers, I'm sure there's a score of others beasties you can come up with, if there are any questions or problems PM me, or just ask in this thread. If you need more Buffyverse Info just ask too.

Love to hear from everyone who wants onboard, currently it's only Mori, but I hope to hear from more of you. Dawn? When you're free perhaps, you love Buffy. Don’t even have to love Buffy! It's a fantasy rp set in the current day normal world. So jump on board!

So far Im leaning towards a watcher type person.. perhaps someone young who was just being trained by the council before its collapse. She had already started to turn away from it as she did not believe in some of its philosophies, but once she hears that Rupert Giles is rebuilding the council, perhaps she decides she wants in?

Question: will Giles be an NPC? And what happened to the idea of having a Watchtower BB? For those people who have read the Watchtower series of the Buffy books, I thought it would be cool to have a watchtower at the four cardinal points, like there is one in NSC already. The theory would be that Sunnydale was THE Hellmouth, hence it sucking in upon itself, but there are four other holes in the fabric between between dimensions, and these are guarded by watchtowers.. With the hellmouth gone, these watchtowers would see alot more action.... our stories could be centred around the remaining slayers being drawn to the watchtower.. *Shrugs* Just some thoughts..

But yeah put me down as a Watcher, and Id also like to play a slayer, though she is somewhat in the background. As Im already playing a werewolf, witch and vamp eleswhere Ill stick with humans for this plot me thinks.. ;D

Wow i wasn't expecting such a good response, Mori so far the Watch Tower thingy is confusing the hell out of me, as it's not Joss Whedon exactly methinks we should leave it out just for the moment, but we can probably go back to it later and work it into the plot, so we will discuss it next time i see you.

Dawn it's up to you! While i would LOVE to see you play a Slayer the idea of you being a Watcher and a Big Bad is way cool too, so i cant decide either!? Hmm... dont make me decide i dunno!? Which one appeals to you the most!?

Unless you just want us to start as one character... I'll work on a slayer character first? Maybe? Or a Watcher... OOOOooooo.... what about one of the Coven members from season 6 and 7, perhaps working with the Watchers councel to rebuild? I need more of a story to build my characters around... I need components....~*runs around*~

Now... Whenever you need a Big Bad, you holler, and I'll be glad to provide...

Awesome Dawn, You can use as many characters as you like, the more the better! I like the sound of all of them, especially the coven member! Althea was the leader of the coven methinks, maybe your character could have worked with Willow back in the day? Should be awesome.

We'll built up some main characters before we introduce a big bad, But we will need one eventually.
