Ack, no they both suck, lol. I couldnt bring myself to waste 2 more hours of my life by sitting through Napoleon Dynamite again...
And yea, the sand-pirate thing sounds cool, but the whole "pirate-ANYTHING" was my idea, so HA! *turns up her nose*

Mad Max, yes, percisely. But, this isnt going to be earth, its going to be a whole different world. Where the world has always been like that. There is also a main plot where i believe most of the RP would take Place. If it pleases the Mori, i would tell you the plot details.

I think it would be wiser to disclose said information PM style, as to not give away the whole thing.

Ok, so the idea a good or bad one Mori? And if you, give me your understanding of what it needs to be from my original descriptions that we improved.

K, in reading your idea carefully, here are my thoughts on the subject. One: The general description of the setting was good. I like the idea of the sand ocean surrounding the slabs of stone /water wells, and I love the concept of people having to horde and store water.. perhaps even steal it. I can see a RP working quite well in that kind of setting. Two: The whole "prisoners from a forgotten prison escape and live in the real world on these slabs etc", is... kinda hard for me to get my head around... but thats probably a shortcoming on MY behalf, as its a new type of genre for me.. I get your general idea, and although its not something I would of thought of, I like it for its origionality. ;D These people seeing "Gods and Demons in the shadows" is a cool concept, but Im not sure about the whole robot guards from the prison idea.. *shrugs and grins* It is a cool idea, I just dont know if its a bit complicated or not. Ive found that the more complex a plot starts out as, it takes a great deal of concerntation and effort from everyone involved to concentrate on and deliver posts effectively. So.. my suggestion.. make it as simple as possible. Toss your idea around a bit more, then pitch it to these guys to see what they think. I have a question though? How would you feel about a portal in this realm thats kinda like a worm hole thingy...? I know it probably wouldnt work in with the main plot youve got planned, but I thought as a side project, it might be a possibility for me to play out the wild wild west thing Ive always dreamed of. ;D Anyhoos.. have a thinks, pitch it to the masses, and we shall talk about it then, k babe?

Trust Josh to be the one SO random, he comes up with a plot about sand oceans, pirates, robots, prisions, gods and demons. Lol.

There was a war, a massive war that involved many solar systems and races of many kinds. There was a desert planet found in an uncharted system, so our Solar system used it as a midway base for starships and convoys traveling throughout the galaxy. They inserted the giant slabs of rock in the massive ocean, then filled their cores with water so the traveling ships had a place to replenish their water supply. Tree's were planet and harvested on the slabs to improve the atmosphere so human life could be sustained while repairs were carried out. There is also a Starport located somewhere on the planet, and its discovery would prove VERY entertaining in the midst of a huge battle between the people as they fight for water. Dontcha think? As for the God and Demons, it would be rather simple. Drones, workers, servants, all those robots used in the daily work by the military and stuff that were left behind when the planet was forgotten simply got worn down by time they have just become phantoms randomly appearing in the oceans and on the shores of the towns then disappearing. But then there will be a few 'suprises' in those massive bodies of sand, a few machines of war that survived the test of time and will also randomly make their appearance to terrorize the RPers when it fits the plots and such. So you could have your wild west thing you've always wanted, and i could still retain my Sci-fi theme. And yes, there can be a Jumpgate that allows interplanetary space travel. It would allow greater Sci-fi stance. well? ??

How about a Norse Pantheon Vs. Greek Pantheon? That way you have the Norse Vikings (old school-hardcore-pirates) and the gods/godesses of both sides. Just a thought.
