okay, okay.. Ive had a think and Ive decided (if its okay with YOU guys) that I want to play Ozma.

I realy had difficulty getting excited about playing the scarecrow, and I was tossing up between him, Ozma and Jack.. BUT if I play Ozma, then I still get to play WITH Scarecrow and Jack as they both live with her.. so either I get to play with them being played Characters, or if we dont get any takers, I can play with them as NPC's! So.. yayyyyyy!! Me likes that idea.

Plus.. shes pretty.. and we all know how teh Mori likes to be pretty. *preens* AND I get a tiara of flowers... how totally coolness is that??!

Change the Tin man to the Iron Man? Nonsense.... We're playing out a pre-existing story... the main characters can't be changed! At least that's how I feel. otherwise, what's the point of playing in the story line? But it's not up to me, actually... I'm just the snobby good witch of the north... lol

The only difference is the name, it has little impact on the story. It can be one of those ironic names, like calling a big guy tiny.

Eek... i'd rather the Tin Man Stays the Tin Woodsman, his name is Nick Chopper... and he's the Tin Man!

I want the characters to remain what they are, just more real world and darker than what they were originally, which has hints of it in the book anyway.

Dawn have you ever read Wicked?

My favorite character in the OZ stories by Baum was ~ALWAYS~ The Wicked Witch of the West... ~*laughs*~ Big surprise there, eh? In fact, I was supposed to play her in my high school production, when I was a freshman, but NOOOoooooo.... there was a girl who was a senior who desperately wanted a part and made everyone but me feel bad.... ~*wrinkles her nose*~ So she won a Gene Kelly award... Psshhttt.... I would have swept it in a minute...

But yeah, Elphaba's my new Hero! She's replaced Morgaine! For one of mu assingments i'm doing a photo Narative based on Wicked but set in Modern times, i'll show you some pics when i've finished.

Awesome, welcome aboard! Glad to have you, as with Mori, you could Wikipedia the character, i think there's loads of stuff about him on Wikipedia.

There's actually an enormous section on the entire land of OZ as Baum and others write it.. there are even breakdowns of each book and it's pretty helpful if you're not playing a character that is overtly from one of the more popular stories.
