Alright i figured i may as well at least offer it to any interested, if no one is then I will merely write it on my own. I wanted to expand on the Vinyakin race, make a prelude to Sehkem, what it was like when the race was at its prime.
Here is the breakdown thus far:
Each Vinyakin is first aligned with either Good or Evil.
Then they are aligned with one of the Elements: Earth, Wind, Fire, Water.
Leaving the Judge with control over all the elements along with Good and Evil.
Each Vinyakin then belongs to a group based on their alignment:
Sacred Terra (good earth)
Blessed Zephyr (good air)----Ninjz
White Flame (good fire)-------Rayn
Redeeming Flood (good water)--------Domar
Cursed Land (evil earth)
Unholy Tempest (evil air)-------Discord
Vile Blaze (evil fire)-------The JoshnessTM
Corupt Water (evil water)Dagodevas
Each group most hates their opposite (ie. Sacred Terra and Unholy Tempest) Each group seeks to further their alignment and element, their primary goal is alignment causing them to sometimes seek help with other groups that share their alignment, then comes their element.
Those of the Earth element tend to be more stoic in the sense of emotions. Vinyakins of the Earth element usually are well built, and can take quite a bit of physical beating. They are also the most bull-headed, it takes the Vinyakins of the Earth element the longest to trust others, they also have a habit of looking down at the other Vinyakins. The Vinyakins of Earth don't differ much in the way of good and evil, the only noticable difference is the way in which they dress and use their magick. The good tend to use it to trap or knock their enemies unconsious, while the evil try and flat out crush their enemies. The Sacred Terra dress in light earth tones, while their skinn tends to take on a light earthy hue. The Cursed Land dress in dark earth tones and their skin is darker than those of Sacred Terra.
The Vinyakins of the Air element, tend to be the most light hearted, they are the most agile, but also the weakest physically. They more often than not are joyfull which is one reason why their only true enemy is the Vinyakins of the Earth element, since they dont tolerate the "foolishness" of those of the Air. The main difference between those of Blessed Zephyr and those of Unholy Tempest, are that the joyous trait that belongs to those of the air changes into a sadistic glee with those of the Unholy Tempest. Those of the Air element dress in very thin clothing, which for the most part tends to be see-through. The Blessed Zephyr dressin light colors, while the Unholy Tempest dress in dark colors. Those of the Blessed Zephyr always seem to be accompanied by a gentle breeze, while swirling winds accompany those of the Unholy Tempest. The wings of the Unholy Tempest tend to be smokey in color, and the Blessed Zephyr are white.
The Fire Vinyakins are the most unpredictable, their moods shift quickly and are even quicker to anger. They are always spoiling for a fight, they are the Zealots of the Vinyakins. They will do anything neccessary to complete their goals. Both sides, White Flame and Vile Blaze, are not interested in leaving their enemies alive. The Vile Blaze has been known to take a few prisoners, only to extensively torture them. The Vinyakins of the White flame dress in light reds, oranges, yellows and whites, while the Vile blaze dress in dark reds, oranges, and blacks. The wings of the White flame tend to be a light red to an orange. Those of the Vile blaze go from a Dark red to a Dark red with ashen streaks.
The Vinyakins of Water, are the most fluid. They arent prone to radical mood swings, but it is not unheard of. They are among the best unarmed combatants. They tend to dress in Blues and Greens, lighter colors for the Redeeming Flood and darker for the Corrupt Waters. Their wings follow the same pattern. (I'll add more to this but for now this is all i have, I hope it is enough to get things going.)
Then there are the ones that are called Disciples. They have limited control over Good, Evil and also Neutral magick, they also have considerable control over two elements (elements cannot be opposites such as Water and Fire). These Vinyakins work directly with the Judge. I would prefer if the other groups are filled before the Disciples so that there is actual conflict.
