So Rayn had a marvtasticent idea. An aquatic world. A huge kingdom beneath the sea....the lost city of Atlantis. Well...it doesn't have to be Atlantis, but I think it would be a good plot. Like, the kingdom could be under attack from some foriegn creatures or their is a Seadragon among their midsts, making people go missing and the such. Just an idea.  |

Just as a bit of constructive criticism, perhaps you should flesh out your idea more? I like the setting, but it would really help your case if you decide on a story first. It helps other people get started with characters and ideas.
As for a story suggestion of my own? Hm. I like the idea of the sea dragon. A bit of an aquatic twist on a classic dungeon crawl!

Ok, so here is the plot that I have tried to create..... The plot takes place in the blue depths of the sea, though everything seems calm, there is a war brewing. There are two kingdoms that have been at war for 20 years, starting over sea ownership and a long blood hatred. We have the white, silver, and goldfins in the Kingdom of Nevin. The blood history in the Kingdom of Nevin has come from the first King, a holy God himself, Archard Holyfin. Thus the holy lineage has been passed down from generation to generation to the current king, Kiran Holyfin (whom I shall play if anyone is interested in the plot). This kingdom wishes for nothing but peace and tranquility, though because of the enemy kingdom, has been forced into war. They are very proper and precise in everything they do. They are strong in holy magic and weaponry, and have made alliances with the "good" sea creatures, i.e. dolphins, certain fish, etc. Now we have the Kingdom of Tabor. The residents of the Kingdom of Tabor are the black, bronze, and redfins. I want the King/Queen of this Kingdom to be the twin brother/sister of Kiran, hence the blood hatred. The leader was angry at their parents because Kiran was to become the next King of the Nevin Empire. This person renegaded and divided the kingdom, taking along the ones that desired power and a 'free" life. Becoming evil has turned their fins from the brilliant shades of Gold, etc. to Black, red, etc. They usually are unorganized when it comes to a community, but are ruthless fighters. They are skilled in evil magic and weaponry, and have made alliances with the "evil" sea creatures i.e. sharks, certain fish, etc. Obviously these are merpeople, but any other creature can do as long as they have some kind of mark showing which kingdom they belong to. I will need: A leader of the Kingdom of Tabor Military/Weaponry/Magic soldiers, etc. Some kind of marine animal alliances. If no one wants to play a marine creature I can turn these into NPC's. and Maybe even a love between the two kingdoms. This is my first plot I've ever tried to create, so any pointers or questions about unclear things are appreciated. Any questions about characters I will happily answer. Thanks guys! |

AGAINST my better judgment, i think i'm in... I have thing for Mers... Bia and Hex know that so far i think i might make a solider Mer person... or i might even look into the Tabor, but i'm not good with evil... maybe the Tabor... |

I think I'll join. Really want to be a solder of Tabor, but if by the time you start this plot no one will be the ruler of Tabor I will play him. I think this will turn out to be great Rayn.

I'd follow Yorkie C into anything. The very idea of adding a plot at this point is...absurd, but I have my days free now and I need to fill it with something. Even my upcoming college course is a writing course, so this can just be considered practice. Lots and lots and LOTS of practice...Yeah. Adding this plot to my mountain of others is...for educational purposes only..of course. I am all about mystical marine creatures. <>Dives into research for a character idea<>

Im working on an idea, I love the idea of starcrossed lovers devided by an ocean and a feud between the two kingdoms - you know me, that is just sooooooooo me... *grins* Ill have a think and a word to some people and Ill get back to you. Once again, good work!

This RP sounds sweet as. And because everyone has their own interpretation of Atlantis, it will be quite creative and i think will develop nicely. Who could resist an Atlantis theme? honestly?
I'm in definately. Too many character options....
