All of my rping career has been spent trying to find someone who would give a plot to me that I could lose myself in, so that I could go to that wonderful oblivious euphoria so that my focus was diverted from the rest of the world. I found the interest and popularity in my Anima plot to be astounding and quite surprising. My fears when I started it was that it would be but me and Mori playing it only. Now I know my absenses have been frequent but I assure you that it will not be the same in the future, How can I promise that? Well its because my absenses were a string of deaths in my family, and even if I do have unfortunate times again I have plans in measure to make sure my duties here are still taken care of. That all being said and without beating around the bush anymore I would like to offer to all of you openly yet another plot. Now I know there is alot of plots that have just started and obviously alot of people coming up with new ones but I'd like to try my skill at organizing something even more large and even better than my Anima plot. Now I am taking a guess that everyone here either likes or is familiar with anime. But a long surviving anime story has been the "Gundam" series. Now if anyone is familiar with the Gundam series it was played over very many years and saw many developments in animation technology before its demise. Well after compiling data on different mechanical designs from the show over the years I have constructed a plot based around the same basic idea as the series. Now I will switch things up to make it our own and add my own since of sick turmoil but I believe it to be a great idea to give to you a centralized problem, pit you against each other, and witness the all-out war that ensues. Now I have no idea if I am just spinning my wheels here but there is much potential for plot playing in the main idea but there is also chances to develop character history through writing a thread about it, side adventures would be mandatory. Everlastingly expansive and a world that we could simple raise from an infant state that would never have to end, it could be an historical plot to which years from now we look back and have memories of how our little world has developed. Now everything techincal I will take care of and everything that needs to be taken care of will be done accordingly to the interest developed in this plot. All I need to know is how many people are interested in playing in this plot, Newbies are welcome and even those who feel they do not have the skill to play a very technical plot, I have devised this to get everyone together on all skill levels and writing talents. So if you would all please tell me what you think I could get to work for you or just shut up, its all up to you guys.

Yea, I've heard of Gundam. I've seen bits and pieces of it. Seemed kinda kewl, but I'm not so knowledgable about the whole story-line or anything. If someone could give me a run-through of what I would be getting into, I might be interested ^.^

Alright here it is, I want to know any interest through PMs so that I know who and what you are in the plot, we will be starting in randomville as soon as I get all this information on to me. Remember the character play is unlimited you can be an MS Pilot, a commander, a important political figure, an engineer, a scientist, a medical team member, a civilian, a construction worker, a baker, and HEY its all up to what you want to do, play a part of somebody bogged down by the tyranny and horror of war. Anyways without further blabbering here is the history and the sides to be on.
History: From the turning of 20th century, Man's violence and intolerance to differences in race and religion brought about a global violence that on many occasions threatened to destroy all that humanity had held dear on its planet. Slowly man put down their arms and began to better themselves through commerce and peace, Earth had never known such a peace in all of her existence and such a beautiful thing was never meant to last. The population of Earth began to drastically climb to a point where the room and resources availible were dwindling threatening the extinction of man. As the new peaceful Earth could not see a forceful doctrine declaring that birth be limited among its people the projects starting for the colonizing of space began. Soon man was divided not only to those chosen to stay on Earth but those who took natural resources and the engineering power of man and lived in gigantic space colonies. The alienation of humanity from itself in different colonies and indifference to the Earth brought the peace crashing down, old weapons were not revived rather, new weapons were created to keep up with the changing times. New weapons called mobile suits (MS) were created to give the expanding battle field bigger and badder soldiers. Each passing generation of MS created gave the robotic suits more of a human feel even some locking in with the pilot's neural patterns and becoming an extension of ones body. It is now that the clashes will begin to peak and there is no doubt that man will never stop fighting until it is extinct but for now the Global Alliance made up of Earth and its nearest colonies are fighting a war against far side colonies whom call themselves the Crimson Plague. These two great opposing forces and the many mercenary groups, neutral colonies, and independant militaries deciding whether they would rather see the GA or the CP win this war has made this war dangerous and at the cost of almost billions of lives it rages on.
The Global Alliance: This alliance between the nearest colonies of Earth and the people of Earth itself was formed in response to star freighters being attacked supplying the colonies nearest to Earth's own orbit. The Global Alliance or GA has been charged with counting many outlying colonies as expendable by the Crimson Plague. Denying it publically the issue is not that far from the truth, just as governments have always been split the issue among the many echelons of the GA Command was that some did feel that the outlying colonies were and are a waste of time while others demand that supplies be evenly distributed among all colonies. Whether they agree on the importance of the outlying colonies the GA agrees in the fact that it believes the Crimson Plague is a terrorist regime bent on controlling Earth and all of its colonies based on what it feels is in the best interest of their spiritual belief. The Global Alliance has a smaller MS Corps than the Crimson Plague however the GA makes up for its lack of numbers with the sheer firepower of its forces and the talent it has in MS Pilots. The Black Viper Squadran is made up of what is considered some of the greatest MS pilots in the Solar System and is the Ace Squadran for the GA. They have an outstanding maintenance and engineering corps that not only keeps their MSs running clean but also helps to make improvements on existing models or create new models to further the GA's campaign against the Crimson Plague.
The Crimson Plague: An organization built up from colonists and a few outposted officers of the GA whom funded the terrorist attacks against the star freighters. They insighted the hatred against the GA and built up the Plague. And even though they still use their influence to bring about their own personal agenda, still to the soldiers of the Plague they think they are doing themselves better by fighting against the tyranny of the Earth bound hierarchy by creating this war in the name of equal rights among all colonists near and far from the earth. Still it remains that the talent among this Corps of lower class civilians is limited however somehow their production power is ultimate and they still have cards up their sleeves in the Red Wave Squadran, the CP's Ace Squadran. While the command and standing army is split unknowingly about what is going on many different groups from around the deep space colonies have offered their suspicions and have taken their business to the GA as spies. This has created unrest and a tight grip upon the area by the Commanders of the Plague. This is why many in the GA see the Crimson Plague as some extremeist terrorist regime.
Mercenary Groups, Neutral Colonies, and Independant Militaries: The list is vast and long, the mercenary groups come from either rogue ex-military MS Pilots looking for something new instead of following orders or citizens that need the money and have a hand in stealing MSs right off the production line. Neutral Colonies are numbered by their distance from the Earth 1-11 are called the Near-Earth Space Colonies or (NESC), the 12-22 number colonies are called the Mid-Range Space Colonies or (MRSC), and the last 23-33 colonies are called the Out-Lying Space Colonies or (OLSC) now independantly named the Crimson Plague. All the NESC are the fore members of the GA while MRSC 12-15 have sided with the GA for mutual interest, MRSC 19-22 have sided with the Crimson Plague for their best interest. This leaves the MRSC 16-18 as neutral colonies whom are split on which side they should join. The independant militaries are short and few in number reports for 6 groups have been reported but only 2 are documented. The traders of space had built a giant space port for different comings and goings among the MRSC, they have formed their army from buying MSs on the black market and customizing them to fit them for fit military use. The other group is from the manufacturing plants on the moon, they were funded for many years by the GA and developed many of the prototypes for the MS that the GA uses today. They seperated from the GA when they found that some of their actions were against their moral code. Now the group of pilots from the Moon Colony are considered the best of the best when it comes to piloting and they fight against both the GA and the CP. They fight based on what they think is right and wrong, if one of the organizations makes a move that is wrong the Moon Colony Pilots will sweep in to swiftly take them out.
