Symphonie de la Lumière is about a world, we’ll call it Lucite, that is full of music. The music is like magic. Magicians are called Melodists, and magic is called Melody. There are two feuding families, the Lumières and the Ombres. All of humanity is either a Lumière, or an Ombres, in this plot, you have to choose one. Instruments are used as weapons, and everybody has an element. For example, I have a character who I could use in this world. Her name is Dysis, and she has a flute as a weapon, and her element is ice. She uses those two in unison to fight. I think this is a cool plot. This all I have now, but if you give me some ides to extend the plot, we could play it out and I would give you credit for it. I really think this could make a good plot, and I hope we can play it out. By the way, how do you do that?  Anyway, please respond and voice your opinion. Also, how come nobody ever replies to my posts?  |

Sorry Tak, It’s one of the busy periods of Morthika, things will pick up.
I like the concept, but I don’t think you have to contain it to your own realm and 'world' what if your character was a member of a group or some kind of ancient guild that use music to perform magic, I think she would fit in well in 'the war between light and dark' maybe she could teach music at the school? Basically it would mean that your character and story would be in the land of 'Morthika' maybe Dysis comes from the country Lucite to the east of Morthika rather than a whole new world?
Does that make sense? Let me know what you think.

You're right Talisen. Besides, I don't think I could manage a realm. ;D It makes total sense. I like the idea of the ancient guild. Would that be in the War Between Light and Dark?

Ooops. I just found out I got accepted into Tales of Bryutal! Yay me!! *claps to self*
Anyway, Dysis is my character for that, and I don't think I can use her anywhere else. But the bad thing is that it's on Hiatus right now. But that's okay.

You can use the same character in more than one plot at a time.. its complicated but it can be done. Given the fact that your character is an Elf, I think she would also be good to play in the War itself. Have a read of the thread "And so it begins".. located in the realm War Between Light and Dark to see if its your cup of tea. And sorry if I havent responded to your posts.. Ive been completely AWOL the last few weeks. Its a quiet time around here, but it will pick up soon hopefully. Nanoo Nanoo  |
