I have come up with a new plot, or rather a situation I thought would be humorous. I say we have a plot where you take your all time favorite character from a videogame, television show, comic book whatever, and skew them into wacky messed up versions of themselves. A totally silly and wacky compilation of events that goes on forever. A massive collection of people from different worlds and times. The name you ask? Randomville: The RP. Post a character here so nobody is the same person as anybody else, and I'll start the thread on Friday if enough people are interested. I hope this gets a lot of attention, because I've always wanted to do something like this, it just seems like something Morthika could house, there are a ton of serious plots out there, and finally one where you can just let go and whack someone in the head with a computer and it's matching accessories. Tell me what you think.

Tak, I am so happy that your beautiful creative mind found its way here.. we are truly blessed to have you with us.  While Im happy to see you keen and eager to start some new plots up at Morthika babe, Im afraid that we just dont have enough players to keep taking on lots of new plots. Ive seriously lost track of how many plots Im in here.. in fact, apart from one or two, I think Im involved in every one, in some way or the other and its hard to keep up with everything as it is, let alone if I took on another one, so I will have to decline from participating in this roleplay babe, though it DOES sound kickass!  . My own rules, and my head told me to say no to the Egyptian one too, but I just couldnt resist no matter how hard I tried... Cleopatra fetish remember?  I have quite a few plots myself that I have on the backburner, ideas and plot lines that Ive had for quite a time but I need to wait for the right time to get them started up. As frustrating as it is, Morthika is still a small site, member wise. Although our member list is in the hundreds, most of us have multiple screen names to represent the different characters we have, so there's actually only about.. under fifty or so people who actually RP here. When you spread that over all the different realms, PLUS Randomville, PLUS the odd new plot that starts up, then you have a small group of people enjoying ALOT of RP but threading themselves pretty thin. There comes a point that you have to think, okay.. lets make do with what weve got now and develop that plot a bit more before we introduce it to our fellow Morthikans ya know?  People arrive daily.. some like it here and choose to stay.. those people (such as yourself) even get bitten by the bug and want to introduce their own Roleplaying plots to the group, not realising how stretched out everyone else already is.. *grins* Its a catch 22 situation.. but.. it happens. When this happens though, hopefully these people will advertise their ideas to the newly arrived who, like themselves, will be eager to engage in some new roleplay themselves. Then, hey presto! we have an active plot that youve created happening in Morthika  If you want people to sign up for this plot AND your Egyptian one, you can try posting a listing in the Recruitment Tent in newbyville, that will then have your permanent details up for new arrivals to see, and when they are interested they can contact you. Its one way of getting people interested in your plot, the other is to advertise it any other way you can possibly think of. *grins* HOPEFULLY we are about to have our chat room sorted out, so Im sure if we are looking for some scenarios to prompt some real time RP then your ideas will be kickass.. only thing I worry about is copywrite, a problem that needs to be thought of when using someone elses character... Im a worry wart though.. so *shrugs* just ignore me. All that said, I cant wait to read whatever RP this initial thead of yours inspires and let me know if I can help in any way, okies? |

Okies Mori, I'll try to advertise Morthika, It'll be fun! I've tryed to expose my friend to it, but she said it was too hard to navigate. Ths place is anything but hard! I should show her the help section on the top. I thought she would make a really good addition to the group, she is currently writing a BOOK. Yes a book. She is thirteen. I think she's naming it The Name. It's about this girl and her encounters with different people, told from their point of view. They don't know her name either. She says the last word is going to be her name, which she told me was her own, which is why I'm not telling you, in case it get's published. And to Ayorah, the Great Cthulhu? Who's that? Or what? Anyways, I bet we could make the plot work with just two people for now, though I think I might advertise the site on my myspace, (which nobody ever looks at  ) Anyways, I'm thinking my character is going to be Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. It would be fun to twist him! |

SO! I'm thinking that no many people are seeing this, but I am hoping big time to get this going. So if this looks good to you, PLEASE POST HERE! You can be your favorite character from anything, book, movie, tv show, heck, even real life. If that's not okay, than just come up with a silly character. Example:
Name: Billy Joe Bob Dude
Profession: Official Stealer of Weird Stuff
Description: Extremely long pink hair, with a huge bald spot in the middle of his head.
Okay, that mght be a little over the top, but you get my meaning?

Alrite then... Name: (Great Lord) Cthulu Profession: High Priest of Azatoth, Lord of all Star Spawn, Destroyer of Humanity Description: A lumbering, 100 metre tall being of pure evil. He has a humanoid body covered in a green slimy skin, much like that of an octopus. His head is, in fact, very similar to an octopus; a large round craneal area with two sinister eyes of pure black, and a mass of tentacles sprouting where one would expect to find a mouth. His feet and hands are webbed, with huge claws sharp as blades, and from his back extend two vast and majestic batlike wings. He has a notoriously short temper and is known to eat the souls of those who speak on their cell phones at the cinema while He's watching a movie. but you said we could change things right? I want her to be a little more...like...Riona(sp) from FF VIII. so really shes a mix between the two.
