After three and a bit years, the battle is finally about to begin in what has turned into an epic plot. For those of you new to Morthika, this site origionally started as a place to house a plot called The War Between Light and Dark. Over the last few years, the plot has lost and gained many players but is still going strong. Once the battles are finally done and one side stands victorious, I hope to get the story published with all the authors' work fully credited to those responsible.
The battle is about to begin in the township of Bendelsain. This will affect all the players involved in any RP based at the Dancing Devil Inn, The Whorehouse, Avalon Academy and the Barracks (where the Arena RP is due to start). The plan so far is that the recent attack on the school was only the beginning, and Lucien is intent on concentrating his efforts on Bendelsain. A horde of Demons will be unleashed upon the township, and while Moridanu's troops are nearby, the patrons of all the establishments, as well as the towns citizens will have no choice but to be caught up in the carnage.
The Dancing Devil Inn is going to get the worst hit, seemingly a magnet for all the worst Demons in Luciens horde. Any patrons wishing to avoid fighting are going to be encouraged to hole up in the Whorehouse or the School.. depending on which is closest to their character when the war breaks out. ( The Whorehouse is on the East side while the School is on the West side. The DDI is in the middle). I'm working on putting up a map of Bendelsain to clear up any confusion, but until then, read "A guided tour of Bendelsain" to become familiar with the townships' layout.
Anyone who is not already involved in this plot is more than welcome to join us in the fun. Now is actually the perfect time to join. The Arena realm is about to start up a thread where people looking to either train or be trained as fighters turn up to the Barracks for their usual training sessions.. ie: boxing, sword fighting, battle magick etc. This thread will be open for anyone to join.
