There is no one true faith, the dieties from all faiths exist. Human belief makes them real, gives them their power. Now the Greek gods and the Norse gods seek to end each other, thus ending humanities belief in the other.
Loki had recieved word from Odin himself that the Greeks planned to attack. It was odd that Odin spoke to him seeing as they were not on good terms, but then again these were desperate times. Never before had a war between the gods of two faiths occured, a war between their followers yes but never the gods themselves. As much as Loki wished to kill the rest of his "brethren" he saw no other option than to align, temporarily, to ensure his survival. Odin even stepped down, relinquishing command to him.
Now Loki was in control, Odin knew the only way for them to survive was Loki's ruthlessness, cunning, and power. With him his children, and the giants joined the rest of the Asgard. Loki prepared his troops, and all of the gods' followers. It was to be the war to end all. The only way the war would end, was for one side to be completely desimated, or both.
(OOC: It's short and not the greatest but it's to get things started. If i get a realm, I will set up a thread for the Norse, the Greek and one for interaction between the two.)
