[Felicity]

Felicity floats there blinking. 'Whoa' she thought. She looks at Shade and the demon wondering what's going to happen.

[Tak]

With startling swiftness, several events happened as Dirk crouched behind the tree, which he now deemed a pretty stupid move. Who wouldn't see him behind a tree? The demon appeared behind him suddenly, and ten just as quickly, the shade swished over and slashed the demon's back.

Dirk was by no means stupid, just a little bit dense sometimes. This was one of those times where he wasn't. There was no way that Dirk wanted to stay there, and it was exactly the moment to get out of there. He began to beat his wings as fast as he could, and sped of into the distance hoping that nobody was going to follow him.

[Felicity]

Felicity is still floating there, when Dirk flys away. She took off and flew to a near-by town, where she dived into and alleyway and changed back into a human. She walk down the street and into BurgerKing.

[Catrux]

The demon Sarushen would merely step forward, just enough to ensure that the wound wouldn't be deep. Even the demon winced as the blade parted his flesh, before he turned toward the shade with a sadistic smile upon his face. "I hope you don't call yourself a mage, because if you do you would be a piss poor one for not being able to read runes." Sarushen would reach back with his left hand, covering it in blood before wiping it all across his body. Every rune on his body that the blood touched shone a dark purple. With a laugh, Sarushen would cover the back of his right hand in blood.

The rune on his right hand shone a light purple and the wound on his back sealed up. At about the same time he activated that last rune the rest of the runes began taking effect. His muscles bulged from the multiple strength runes, if the man was able to detect magical auras the demon's would bolster many times over.

"Let's have some fun." The demon would snarl as he would send a skull shattering punch toward the shade's head, but would at the last minute send a kick to the man's leg instead, hoping to disable the man.

[Nightspinner]

Shade twirled his blade as the demon turned around, which oddly enough, instead of flinging the blood that did not slid off, began to sink into the blade. This demon had one of the smiles that gave Shade a sembalance feeling of annoyance. Sometimes, fighting those with ego is just annoying. Shade remembered his past life and how often he made fools of such opponents. Now he did no such thing. "Mage? Mages envy the power I have at my command, but would shy away from even touching it." As the blood was whiped all around Sarushen, Shade observed, noting the increase in power. Now he could identify what the runes did from the mere power of the aura. Now, this is very amusing.

The rune's strength properties made the demon's muscles quiver with power, but this did not have any effect on Shade's outlook. He looked like he had in the begining of the encounter, uncaring. As the demon snarled and closed the gap between them, he said cooly, "Beast before beauty." Shade pivoted to the left as he saw the punch came in, then at the last moment flew upward swiftly enough that he avoided it, gliding quickly over the demon at his back again, but this time hovering upside down as he slashed at the demon with a flurry of strikes, slashing at the head, back, and wings as he moved into his upside down position behind Sharushen.

Once he held still, he quickly flew downwad, and with his free hand, a long set of ghostly claws cut at Sarushen's hamstrings. The very air around them was unnaturally cold, slicing through the air with no hindrence. It was then when he realized that the hybrids were gone.

OOC: Whoops, Sorry to you two guys. I probally should make another character or two so that I don't leave you guys out of the loop, since you started here long before I.

[Felicity]

Meanwhile, in BugerKing, Felicity had ordered a coke and some chicken nuggets. She sat down at a table and ate them. Relieved to be away from that demon for now. After finishing her food, she went down the slide in the play place.


OOC: That was fun. lol. I had fun writing that. hehe

[Nightspinner]

"Fast food, food for the desperate and the cheap..." Muttered a tall bald teenager in a black leather trench coat. Normally, he wouldn't even have come to this but after having nothing to do since he and his brother arived at the town, he thought it may lead to something interesting. Momentarily, Sy's shining blue eyes blanked out, as if looking beyond what he was seeing now. Van, what do you want to eat?

Nothing Sy. I honestly don't see why you even bother getting food. Its not like we actuelly need it. We sustain ourselves just fine... Van replied dully.

Yeah... but then again there are some benefits in going to these fast food restaurants. Sy replied, though not really sure what benefits were around at the moment. After looking around the dull restaurent, he found one thing that his eye lingered. A girl playing on the play place. Now that is interesting....

What is it Sy? Come on! Let me see! Van's sudden boredem was replaced with curiosity and interest. Obviously he was doing somethign so boring that he wanted to be distracted.


No Van. I'll share it with you later, right now this is my private memory. Van sent some feeling of frustration but didn't say anything more. Sy got out of line and walked up to the girl just as she landed going down the slide. "Hello!"

[Felicity]

Landing at the end of the slide, Felicity was a bit surprised to find a teenage boy standing there saying hello. Nonetheless, she smiles and says "Hi! Who are you?"
