ODK managed to make himself a quick drink from an old bottle of vodka, and some leftover olive juice. He took a slow sip of the vile tonic, then winked an eye while a corner of his lips twitched. ODK then lazily eyed Aeric.
"Unbelievable. Just, unbelievable. A tavern full of elves, a realm filled with good, and everything hinges on a man from another dimension?" snorted ODK with a wave of his drink at the elf while thinking of a clever nickname for Talisen, "I don't know your game, Hoodwink, but you've got lousy timing. The poor guy's probably got chronic nucleonic hysteresis from being ripped between space-time continuums - what, six, seven times, I'm guessing? Look at his complexion! I'm surprised he hasn't lost his lunch yet, if he didn't on the way here. Let him eat something, first, so he can regain his lost momentum and recoil his energies. Keep him away from the hard liquor, though, I doubt his stomach could handle it." ODK grinned tauntingly at the Starfyre, then downed his dirty martini.
ODK had carefully avoided the subject of Aridawn and Elethaire for the moment, realizing his last words of the former were less than friendly. Well, "Fancy Pants" is sort of friendly... Mori's grief was too much for his heart to bear, though. First she was stricken with the possibility of Crowe's death, and now the death of her two best friends. The leadership system was slowly crumbling from Morthika. ODK now saw the reason in Talisen's desperation. He still felt the mage was a fool, though, but if the gamble paid off...well, that would shut up ol' ODK. Stranger things have happened!
ODK slipped away from the bar to find Mori in the corner, crying. He came to her side, hoping to embrace her as the news of Aridawn's death and Elethaire's passing from 'sight' would reach her ears. Given the circumstances, ODK figured a formal introduction between himself and Talisen would have to wait for another time.

Moridanu placed her hands upon his shoulders and begged him to be wrong. All he could do was lower his head, bringing his forhead to hers, and say "I'm sorrry, I was just too late." He was waiting to be blamed for Aridawn's death, he should have gotten there faster, should have saved his life. Instead all he could do was place an enchantment on the corpse to prevent it from further harm.
He kept his head down for a little bit after Moridanu left to greive, only lifting his head once Talisen asked Mori to go into the forest. "Talisen, I will go. I was there already, I may be able to reconnect with the man who was searching in the forest. Give Moridanu some time to greive before thrusting her out again."
Sehkem then turned and headed out the door, with out another word. He did not intend to be followed, yet he was almost certain that some one would join him. Just as long as it isnt that elf... Sehkem thought regarding the issue of not being alone.
Sehkem emerged from the tavern, glanced around, and found the path he had taken here. Hopefully Rafia would not be far off. He began beating his wings, rising into the air. If some one was following him they had best speak up or in a few moments he would be unable to hear anyone on the ground.

Tasting the insult from the man, and smelling the scent of magic being summoned in the air from the same source, he had reached into the recesses of his soul, his emotion, his rage, and touched the center of the inate powers that lay within his birthright. Just a moment more and his sword would have been out, and the commitment would have been made.
Talisen, though, began to explain himself in more detail. As the mage spoke, Aeric thought back to the time in the temple when he had been sucked into that hole, that blackness. The stone was supposed to have been there, but instead he found that void. It had been a portal, and he was pulled here for a reason. This place was in conflict and the mage sounded desperate. He was here to help these people, apparently, and he had to sort out what was true and what wasn't.
Aeric turned away for a moment, when Talisen finished his explaination, and walked over to a nearby table where some of the other elves sat. He put the equipment down and licked his bottom lip, staring down at them, hands on his hips.
" 'Tis true m'lord," a man next to him said, looking up at Aeric. "I know how you must feel, but he is telling the truth of it." Aeric, at a loss for words, turned looking at the other man speaking now, with a drink in his hand, making a true yet mocking joke about the whole thing. Aeric couldn't help but chuckle.
He then watched, still letting the situation simmer in his mind, as the man who had made the challenge turn to leave. "We'll meet again.." he said as the man was leaving. Whether or not he had heard them, Aeric was unsure, but he had the feeling he and that man were not done with each other, nor would thier next meeting be lighthearted.
He looked from Talisen, to ODK, to Moriandu and to elf at the table who had spoken to him. There was only one way to find out if what Talisen had said was true or not. If people needed his help, he could give it. His father had been of the same mindset. When capable and able to fight for a good cause, men of strength and ability needed to duely accept a calling.
Aeric sighed. He was tired, hungry and in want of a bath. He locked his ice blue eyes on Talisen. "You want me to fight and lead these men? I guess we're going to be needing a few swords and bows then..."

*Grateful for ODK’s support, Moridanu turned to smile at him sadly while her hand reached out for his. She felt dizzy, and was shaking all over. She could see everything they had fought so hard for slipping away through her fingers. People were dying, power was shifting to the side of Dark and for once Moridanu was scared and unsure of what to do next.
She nodded absently to Talisen as he mentioned going to the forest, but could not hide her relief when Sehkem volunteered to go instead. Smiling her thanks and appreciation, should he happen to look her way, Moridanu leaned heavily against ODK as she feared she would collapse. After a few moments, she was able to compose herself and turned to address Talisen. After her emerald gaze travelled over the Elf that Talisen was speaking to, she nodded once before looking at Talisen. When she spoke, her voice was soft, tinged with the tears she had just shed.
~Y’seem to have things under control old friend. Forgive me but I must return to the castle, m’people are expecting me and if word of Aridawns death and Elethaires disappearance has reached them already, they will need m’more than ever..~ she called out to Crowe to let him know they were leaving, before she turned back to Talisen. ~What say ye old friend? Are ye to stay here, or should ye and ye charge..~ her eyes travelled back over to the Elf which Talisen seemed sure was capable of leading the Elves into battle. ~come back to the castle with us? Ye are always more than welcome, ye know that..~
She fell silent and waited for his answer. *
(appologies for shortness and crapiness, but thats the best you guys are gonna get for now.. lol)

Talisen stopped for a moment as if in a trance, he then shook his head; his long tendrils of pure dark hair shook like silk behind him
"The Castle… we may join you in time, for the moment I may take the men to the weapons pit… or to The Black Moss Forest, I fear it could mean everything for us and Sehkem will not be able to handle things alone…"
Talisen turned back to Aeric, his hidden blind gaze moved from Aeric to The Other Demon Keeper, he moved towards him
"Demon Keeper, I want you to try and sense dark forces in the Black Moss Forest, There is something of importance there and something moving towards it, that much I know, can you feel anything?"
He let the Other Demon Keeper work things out, all the while his mind was constantly moving
"I would like the Other Demon Keeper to follow Aeric and I into the woods, we may have needs of his gifts… Aeric"
Talisen turned to face Aeric
"Your reunion is short lives I'm afraid, I would like you to accompany me into the woods alone while you send your men to the weapons pit, it's north east of our location and currently unguarded, the enemy may already be aware of it and moving in, but your solders will have to do without you for the moment"
Talisen could already feel the elves apprehension. But there simply wasn't time
"Demon Keeper, what say you?"
The Other Demon Keeper was almost impossible to read, his moods and thoughts shifted dramatically, he was unsure if he would Follow Moridanu back to castle or accompany himself to the forest, invisible a narrow brow raised, an idea had struck him. Talisen reminded himself that a Battle mage was ruthless among all things.
"I'm sure Moridanu will be safe in Crowe's hands, a sip of this and he should be good as new"
Talisen reached into his robes and pulled out a small blue glowing vial
"It will repair the damage and the internal bleeding, Mother Dane's own sweat"
He said with a smile as he handed the liquid to Moridanu
"Crowe was created to protect Moridanu in the first place, a perfect match, perfect team, I'm sure they'll be fine without you…"
Talisen gazed invisible at the ODK, he lowered his head and stared through blind blackened eyes under his hood. The ends of his lips twitched.

ODK wondered why Crowe's health would make him want to go to the forest without Mori. And then he realizedit. ODK witheld a snarl, thinking the words "You sick puppy." Talisen has completely removed the decision from ODK, and thrust it upon Mori. But rather than admit defeat on the matter, he simply nodded and turned to the woman of his affection.
"Well, what say you, Mori? Should I stay with ya, or go to the woods? The big lug won't need us both holdin' him up anymore."
ODK of course did not want to go to the forest. He could feel evil out there, and he had been trying to avoid the whole thing entirely. With a resigned sigh, he nodded his head at Talisen. "Yeah, there's something out there. Couldn't tell ya what, though, without finding it first. Whatever it is, it's not meant to be found. But, it's a big IF to start worrying about something of great power being found. I mean, you don't go around stuffing away magical swords or blessed bows without puting some sort of protection on them. We should have plenty of time before we need to start worrying about if's. Right now, there's a lot more we need to worry about."

"A reunion implies that there was an original union..." He muttered to himself. He looked around, wondering if any of these men had military experience, or if they had even been working together for any amount of time. It took a time a while of training together, and in some cases fighting together, to build the trust needed to march into larger tougher battles.
Aeric himself was tired, and hungry. A day of mostly walking trying to figure out where the heck he was. Now he knew and now he had to go further into the rabbit hole. He was very aware, once again, of his present situation. Wearing only a pair of pants, a belt and crossguard with his sword over his back.
Aeric merely looked around, wondering what was next.

*Moridanu nodded in response to Talisen and ODK as she peered over at Crowe. He had finished his ale and was looking back at her with his dark eyes that seemed to penetrate her very soul. Pleased to see him looking much more like his old self, she turned her attention back to ODK. Although the thought of him leaving her was too much for her to bare, given the fact that she had only just found him again, Moridanu was torn by her sense of duty.
She could not go to the forest herself. There was too much for her to organise back at the castle. If this “evil” was realy rising as quickly as Talisen claimed, the troops would need to be rallied and prepared for battle. Under normal circumstances, Moridanu would send Crowe in her place, but he was obviously not up to such a challenge. Therefore, it would seem that ODK was the next obvious choice. Taking a deep breath she smiled at him faintly.
~Ye are right m’love. I don’t be thinkin’ he be needing much more assistance than I am capable of givin.. he be looking better don’t ye think?~ Glancing over at the elves, Talisen and Aeric, Moridanu nodded once before she raised her voice and called out loudly.
~Crowe and I shall be returnin’ to the castle. We will rally the troops and have them prepared for battle should ye send the call. ODK is to accompany ye into the forest and is to be considered my representative. All orders are to be run by him first, and his decision is final. The elves are welcome to as many weapons as they need from the weapon pit, though I suggest they move post haste!~
Pulling ODK to the side slightly, she kissed him once before whispering in his ear. ~While I cannot bare the thought of being away from ye, I need ye to represent me in the forest. I do not know what might happen, but if something does, I need to be there. However, I can not. Ye are the next best thing, and I trust ye to make the right judgement calls in my absence.~ she kissed him again, this time more deeply before she tore away from him and moved to Talisens side.
Kissing his cheek softly, she murmured ~ Safe journey old friend.. keep in touch please. I shall send a raven to fly above ye.. if ye need a message sent t’me, tie it to her leg and she shall bring it t’me at once. ~
Nodding at Aeric, she murmered ~Good luck~ before she turned on her heel and walked over to Crowe. Offering him assistance if he needed it, Moridanu opened the door of the Den’s Tavern and guided Crowe up the dark, winding staircase. Soon they were out of the Den and set out on the journey back to the castle. *

ODK cursed in his head. Damn so-called 'duty'. He wanted that kiss to linger much longer, but alas, DUTY called. He hated duty of any kind. That included dogma, service, honor, and chivalry. He was good when he decided he was, not because a sense of "duty" compelled him. After spending much of known eternity fullfilling the wishes of others, he had struck out for himself and become a happier person for it. Tortured, too, but that was a different matter entirely.
Anyway, as Mori thrust upon him the responsibility of being her representative, and of approving orders, he grew a bit nervous. He was used to commanding unquestioning demons, not a troop of elves or anything. He just smiled at the crowd.

(Sorry, Being lazy and posting under this name as CROWE so that no one is confused, thank you.)
It seemed like an eternity from that rubble prison to sitting here staring down into the bitter liquid with no words passing his lips, as his ears took in anything he could possibly pick up. He really wasnt paying attention so no information of perceived importance had reached him at all. His eyes did not travel and his lips did not move save to let the bitter liquid move down his throat. He finally felt himself gathered up by Mori and his eyes finally moved to look at her. It was a total role reversal at this point and it almost angered him. Not that he wanted her hurt but it was he who protected her. He went up the stairs with her undoubtedly though he wasnt paying attention, he was aware of what was going on and what must be done. His lips finally moved for another reason, to speak words, for his own concerns to be spoken.
"Moridanu...How much shall this cost us? Will it cost you? Shall you be going into this battle? I wish to be better so I can protect yo..." He began to cough though softly but he made a horrendous sound and as he regained himself he smiled weakly, "I'm feeling abit like an anchor right now..." He let only a bit of silence before he began to talk hoping to stop a response for his question, "Mori...What if I would have died?..." Everything in his face went away and he looked away from her and thought that everything was the will of things greater than him, his death would signify nothing more than Moridanu's unneed of his protection, and perhaps he wanted it to mean more is why he asked. He wished not to bring about confusion because he was willing to do anything to preserve everything Mori held dear.

Talisen watched Mori go, underneath his good his scarred eyes narrowed dangerously as he felt his dark side flair up, he was an arch battle mage… no demon keepers decision would be final… not while Talisen still breathed, he would do things according to his own prerogative not go through anyone, that included Moridanu. Talisen shook his head, he turned to Aeric and smiled fondly, for some reason he felt a great camaraderie for the Elf even if it wasn't returned in the slightest
"In the back you'll find everything you need to refresh up, eat and drink as much as you please"
He said out loud, but he continued to speak, the rest only Aeric would hear in his head
:You’re a great leader that much I know and trust, but your also new to this realm and these men, order them to go to the weapons Pitt and take whatever they choose, they will find it all, tell them to guard over the pit until Moridanu sends some guards, at that stage they will return to your command… This is the last time I'll work through you, after this they are yours body and soul:
Talisen turned back around, his eyes narrowed once again at ODK, he was a master at masking what he said in peoples heads but he had the suspicion ODk heard it all
"When the there of us are alone, we will travel to the Black Moss Forest to mete up with Sehkem and this character Rafia that was mentioned, Aeric you have half an hour to prepare yourself, the same goes for you Keeper"
Talisen moved next to the fire and took a seat, he finally had the chance to rest, he would never let anyone know how tired he was, but it was a great relief to simply sit and mediate, Talisen folded his sleeves into each other. It wasn't a long rest as Talisen realised he would have to put his clothes more suited for battle. He left the room and returned not long after in a crimson sleeveless tunic, under the tunic was a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up, painted brilliantly against his wrists and arms was the blue serpents that coiled tattooed against his flesh. He wore heavy black boots and black leather pants. A black bandanna covered his eyes and rolled up behind his head allowing his long black hair to hang free behind his head. In a sheath at his belt were two long curved blades. Talisen waited for the others, knowing they were alone and soon they would start of their journey to the black moss forest. What they'd find there Talisen didn't know… and feared.

(A rping session between Mori and Crowe)
Moridanu: *She walked slowly, allowing Crowe all the time he needed to keep pace with her as her troubled mind thought carefully about her next words. She needed to reassure Crowe, to let him know that everything would be okay. But in truth, she herself was not so sure that it would be okay. Not now. Not ever. Forcing a bright smile to her face, she reached out and interlaced her fingers with his. As children, they used to walk around hand in hand, not being able to stand being apart from each other for even a few metres. The familiarity and feelings of love and security that washed over with Crowes touch, caused a small tear to leak out of the side of her brilliant emerald gaze, causing her eyes to glisten as she looked at him. ~Only the heavens above know what tis in store for us and our kin, Im afraid. But one thing I do know.. you and I.. we are strong. Together and apart. Nothing will come between us, nothing will cause ye to ever be a burden. Ye are my rock, my protector and my dearest friend.. please do not think such thoughts.. they pain me..~*
Crowe: *The pain in which he was consumed by when they took every single step was almost cured when she took his hand into hers and he almost felt his body lifting from the ground before the pain finally settled into him again. He too remembered of their childhood, the times studying and the times playing. Always it was ever present in his mind what Mori was doing and it seemed that was what saved him from that rubble pile. He was wondering what she was doing, in the light of the conflict was he worth enough to be saved. He couldnt believe his own doubts and he just went on living and waiting, knowing that she was going to find him and save him. Her words brought only mixed feelings to him for he knew his place in her life. He was a bodyguard with an attraction for what he protected. He fiercely needed to prove himself for in his own mind what he had done never calculated to be good enough for his most wonderful counterpart.* Forgive me Mori..
Moridanu: *She laughed softly and reached over to kiss his slightly scruffy cheek. ~There is nothing to forgive. Ye have done nothing wrong to warrant ye asking for forgiveness, so why must ye torture me with eyes as sad as ye? Why can we not enjoy the walk back to the castle and see this time alone together for what it truly is.. a blessing?~ she continued walking, the sun beginning to dip over the trees in the south. Soon it would be nightfall, but Moridanu was confident they would reach Kendelah by the time it was dark. The soft dappled sunlight filtered through the autumn leaves, and once again Moridanu was transported back to her childhood. In her memories, she was hiding from Crowe behind a large oak tree while he counted and pretended to look for her. Of course he knew where she was all along and had snuck up behind her, dumping an armload of dry leaves over her head. She had screamed and run after him laughing, eager to get her own back. But of course, he had been too quick and too strong for her, even back then. Smiling at the memory, she squeezed his hand tighter.*
Crowe: *He looked at her after she had kissed his cheek and ony smiled slightly as she spoke, he was in much pain but it was slowly seeping from his body. He turned his eyes to the horizon also and then followed her eyes as she looked at the leaves. Whether it was by telepathy, his own mind, or the special connection with her no one could understand he spoke to her* I remember we spent most of the rest of the day wrestling in those leaves. Autumn has always been a favored time of year for both of us. *He nodded slowly as a tear slipped down his face and smiled at her, for the first time trully smiled since he had been saved by her. He continued with his walk with her relying on her strength to move on forward through the woods that had conjured up many memories of a much more happy time for both of them* Moridanu, I promise no matter if it costs me my life, that I will see your happy memories renewed. I will bring you peace again..
Moridanu: *She smiled and nodded, not suprised at all to know that he was intune with her thoughts. They were literally two halves of one soul, and she valued the bond between them as a true blessing. ~Aye, the autumn always has a way of making me smile. The leaves are not dead, merely aging until they are blown away by the winds of time... such winds can be ravaging.. why look at us! We were once young and carefree, now we walk as though the weight of the world was on our shoulders. Which, in a way, I suppose it is..~ she offered a nervous chuckle before she slipped her hand from his and ran slightly ahead of him on the pathway. Scooping up an armload of dry leaves she called out ~Prepare to taste my revenge old friend!~ *
Crowe: *He smiled as she spoke her voice always a soothing comfort to his ears. He watched her then as she ran from him and scooped up some dry leaves and he laughed alittle bit* You would dare harm a unarmed injured combatant? *He laughed alittle bit and watched her for a few more moments before he gathered up some leaves of his own in his arm and grinned at her as she stood there* Prepare to taste foliage dearest one!
Moridanu: * Her emerald eyes widened in shock as she laughed. ~OH so I see now.. ye were just faking being injured all along huh?~ with that, she put on a burst of speed so that she had run up, dumped her leaves over his head and had run away again before he could even register she had moved. Laughing so hard that tears were streaking down her cheeks, she scooped up some more leaves. ~Ye look good with leaves in ye hair old boy!~ she taunted as she laughed and waited to see how he would respond. *
Crowe: *He laughed alittle bit* Yeah I staged the entire collaspe and just used this as a way to get you all to myself..*He laughed once again and dropped his leaves where he was knowing that he couldnt even begin to compete at this little game with her in his condition. He might be able to walk a couple steps but running and quick movement were not even close to being an option. He smiled at her comment and just shook his head trying to get the leaves from his hair* I dont think I will be working this look for very long my dear.
Moridanu: *She laughed as she saw him resign to his fate. Waiting until he had shook all the leaves from his hair, she then raced up and dumped some more leaves on his head. Laughing like a crazy person, she doubled over with a stitch as she howled laughter. ~Oh that look is soooooo you, m'dear. I call it... ~Autuum Crowe Leaves~ what do you think? Will it be a success? Will all Morthikans rush to the local store to buy themselves some Autumn Crowe leaves? Perhaps ye could be our model?~ Wiping her eyes, she stopped laughing finally and straightened up as she watched him carefully. Realising how much pain he must be in for him not to counterattack her, she stepped forward and placed a hand on his strong arm. ~Are ye realy in that much pain Crowe?~ her brow furrowed in concern*
Crowe: *He smiled and laughed with her trying to pose in many different poses but failing at most either from his lack of feminine qualities or his unmobilitiy. He just laughed even at himself and as she stopped laughing he looked at her and he smiled wondering what was wrong. When she came to him and asked him he just shook his head and smiled* I am not really in too much pain anymore, its just debilitating. I just need my rest and I will be fine. *He nodded for abit* We must hurry or we may not beat the sun's slow decent.
Moridanu: *She nodded and smiled softly, before reaching out to interlace her fingers once more with his. ~Come on then..~ she murmered as they moved a bit more quickly down the pathway to Kendelah. ~I shall have the maid run you a nice hot bath once we get home, give those muscles a chance to relax and heal. And a good meal should make all the difference..~ Talking softly, Moridanu and Crowe were soon two figures off in the distance, Kendelah looming above them, welcoming them home. *

ODK could see Talisen's resentment towards him. It was expected. ODK knew Talisen would ignore him. So he made a face at the arch mage when his back was turned. Ha! That would teach him something fierce!
Talisen gave his commands, ordering rest and preparedness for the next half hour. ODK didn't need it, and he knew Talisen knew it. It was with Aeric in mind that ODK said nothing on the matter, even ignoring the quiet whisperings of the arch mage's mind. He took a seat in a corner where he could watch the crowd, and receeded into himself. There were bigger questions on ODK's mind than what lay in the woods.
As his eyes drifted closed, he found himself in a forest. Two children were running and playing with eachother. ODK soon realized he was watching the memory of Moridanu and Crowe. He stood by a tree, resting a hand on it as the children ran back and forth, littering leaves everywhere. ODK managed to crack a smile. He was sad, though, realizing how deeply bonded Mori and Crowe were. It was not mere jealousy as she seemed to think. ODK could never remember a time when he was as happy as them. He couldn't even remember if he had a childhood. The vision soon faded, though -- smile and all -- and he was back in himself.
The clawed hand returned to his thoughts. Like a dream forgotten, he only had a glimpse, the impression of this hand, but it slowly grew stronger the more he concentrated on it. The spark of memory steadily brightened until it was no more than a glow on the head of a match. It was enough, however. He could clearly see the distinctive rings on the fingers, and committed them to memory.
His head snapped up at precisely 30 minutes after Talisen's decree. He stood and approached the arch mage nonchalantly. "Well, let's get going. Sun's setting, and we'd better leave now if we want to beat the traffic."

(god damn POS didnt take my post. I hate my computer sometimes.)
(Aeric)
"In the back..." he said, looking back to the bar. Licking his bottom lip, he looked to the elder elf that had spoken to him before. Aeric guessed this was the right time to take charge. "You know where the weapons pit is?" The elder elf nodded. "When the men are done, move them out there and arm up. Make camp if you need to. I will meet you all there."
The elf gathered his things and went to the room that was behind the bar. He set down the weapons, and clothing, and took a look around the room. Hot water, food, drink and an array of clothing greeted him. Aeric was quick to undress, as there wasn't much on him, and get to bathing. After a rather fast cleaning, he tried to dry his black hair with a towel and got some clean clothes on.
Aeric Starfyre dressed in the manner of his father. A black long sleeved shirt was open to the upper middle of his chest. Black pants led to soft leather black boots. He strapped on his black leather crossguard and belt, putting his sword over his back. He rummaged through the clothing, and found black leather gloves. He put those behind his belt, and drew out black hooded cloak, one that reminded him of his brother Rayne, the warrior mage of the family. Last he had seen him, they were at thier mother's academy, getting info on the lotus stone. They had parted ways after that, looking for different objectives.
Aeric put the cloak on, and found a bag, stuffing the rest of the things he had been given, except for the bow and arrows. He had already put the quiver on and looked at the bow laying on a seat. Picking up the bag, the bow and a couple of peices of chicken, he walked out of the back room. Aeric tossed the back to one of his apparent troops. "Make sure I get that when we meet up."
The half hour was already up, so he began eating a peice of chicken, walking toward Talisen and ODK. "Let's roll." He looked to ODK. "I'm Aeric by the way... Aeric Starfyre..."

It has been approximately 30 minutes Talisen had estimated, when he looked up he was surprised to see ODk already waiting and Aeric quickly approaching, Talisen nodded and stood up,
"It shouldn't take us too long to travel to the black Moss Forest"
Talisen made his way up the weaving staircase, it wasn't long before Talisen was walking along an old dirt road, it wouldn't lead them directly to the Black Moss Forest but close enough, it was still daylight but it was quickly becoming night, perhaps they should have waited until morning, moving through the woods was hard enough during the day time… but there simple wasn't enough time, time always time it was a bane sometimes, things were moving along to fast and if they waited till day break things could already be over.
"Perhaps I should tell you a little but about the Black Moss Forest?"
Talisen said over the sounds of chirping birds calling to the sun to finally vanish
"It's a fabled land, ancient and mystic, nobody has ever managed to chart the area, or make any kind of map, rumour has it, the entire Forest was inhabited by an evil witch who changed the woods into something pure and holy into something dark and twisted, the animals of the wood, mystic in there own rights were being murdered and twisted, they came together as did all the trees and from a willow tree a baby girl was born…"
Talisen cleared his throat
"An elf to be precise"
He said turning his hidden gaze to Aeric
"But alas she was no normal elf, blood did not run through her veins but Iron, she was a creature both of the Elven world and the animal world, incredibly powerful, the animals and trees raised the girl and taught her everything she knows, they taught her the arcane as seen through their eyes. When she came of age she killed the witch and the forest was returned to its former state… but not completely. The few people who have made it in and out of the forest say that the entire forest is surrounded a valley deep and dark, magically protected from view where our elf lives, a Miss Oona Ondessa"
As Talisen finished his tale, they had come to a wood; it was dark and large, spaning out east west like natures barrier, looking from the outside one could already see mist hovering at the base of wide trees and rocks covered in rich dark moss. Talisen already got the feeling of evil and foreboding; there was something in the forest that much he could tell, something that shouldn't have been there. He sighed deeply, looking at ODK before proceeding
"Shall we?"
He asked before stepping into the forest and moving through the thick forest.
