Ive deliberately held off commenting on this thread as I wanted to see if you guys could work it out amongst yourselves, which Ive seen you HAVE done.. so yay you guys! MY personal opinion on the subject is as follows: Domar, I understand your frustration at the slow movingness (I know its not a word, but it expresses my point sooo beautifully ) of this plot, but as Game Master, that is solely on you my darlin. If you take a look at the first story in this realm, you will see a war that has been going on now for well over three years.. yes.. three years.. and whats scary is that we realy havent progressed that much over those three years. *grins and shrugs* While some of that has been due to slow postage from some of the players, and other players going AWOL on me, as Game Master, I have to accept the responsibilty of keeping the plot moving WITHOUT autoing people. I understand its difficult and its even harder to keep everyone happy as Im sure you are starting to find out but its one of the drawbacks to running your own plot. If things drag on that much that you want to move everyone on, then you need permissin before you AUTO anyone. I get that you wanted to move things along, and give everyone something to do. Im glad you did, because it was starting to drag on. One thing I have noticed at Morthika, is that when RP gets to be boring or dragged on, you have alot more difficulty getting people to post regularly. Im sensing this is why you posted what you did, and it did have the desired effect of kicking everyone up the ass, but it also bugged a few people.. Just in case you still dont understand why, let me try to explain: Miss Jacki's point is that she is playing Domars wife. In her last post, she is waiting at the top of the stairs for her husband to go to bed. The next thing she has is your post, with NO interaction with her C whatsoever. As she has already stated, if people dont bother responding to your C, it kinda makes you not want to post in the first place. I understand you probably didnt want to get bogged down in a convo with your C's, as you had this big plot twist planned, but something you could of done is contact Jacki via PM and explain that you have something planned and you would like to auto her slightly if thats okay? Explain how you want to auto her, for example, I wouldve included in your post something like this.. "Domar was soon at the head of the stairs, greeting his wife with a kiss and then walked hand in hand with her to their room. After an hour or so of pillow talk, the fell asleep in each others arms, only to be woken by a terrifying scream coming from the main room.." see? In a few lines.. you interacted with Jacki's C.. you ACKNOWLDGED her, but didnt slow your post down.. Also, from Ninjz point of view, his character WAS awake when all this happened. And he also made the point that other people would be awake when this happened too. I think your response was that there might have been sleeping spells, but that doesnt realy cover anything as youve stated that after the fact. The fact that you didnt acknowledge Ninjz either in your post, also makes him feel that his post wasnt acknowledged, and youve just ignored the fact that his C was awake and on guard. One way to combat this, would of once again been to approach Ninjz on PM or even on this OOC thread to explain something big was going to happen but you needed his C to be elsewhere.. then between the two of you, Im sure you could of worked something out that wouldve made the both of you happy. The point is to just include the other players in the plot with any major plot twist.. you dont need to reveal all your secrets or plans, but you do need to have continuity and not auto the other players. *smiles* Please dont take this as teh Mori being all bossy, Im honestly just trying to help you understand why everyone got a bit thingy there for a while, so the same situation doesnt happen again. Apart from all that shit, Im loving this plot and cant wait to see how it plays out. keep up the good work babe.

I'm not trying to sound like an asshole, but for the SECOND time I will say that in my post, before Jacki's post, I put down that Rolloth settled in for the night. I don't see how it works if I'm supposed get out of bed and talk to my wife who is, for whatever reason, waiting at the top of the steps for me after I "settled down for the night."
On to something else. I'm sorry that I'm not doing this right. I'm just so used to D&D style GMing that sometimes, like in my last post, I revert back to it when I shouldn't. I'll try really hard to not do that again, but if I do just get my attention and I'll change it. I would for this one, but people have already responded and that was already a lot of typing and I have issues with typing and writing too much.
Once again, sorry for the problems I've caused. I'm still learning so I hope that everyone will bear with me.

"He waited till they were all gone and the other patrons were in bed before he settled down for the night."
Ok, I read that as if you were STILL waiting for them to leave before you settled down, MEANING that you were going to post about your C going to bed. A little bit more clarification would have worked. Such as:
"He waited till they were all gone and the other patrons were in bed before he finally climbed the stairs to the room that he shared with Roxie to settle down for a long nights sleep."
SOMETHING to that effect woulda been nice.
Interact with my C just a LITTLE bit, and I'll stop bitching, but come on, I really see no reason to post if my C is just going to get ignored.... -.-

By that logic I should stop posting in a few of the threads I am in, but no I continue on. Its not a huge deal to have to come up with somthing for your character to do, mine wasn't influenced yet I came up with a post. I'm not attempting to sound mean, bitchy, or anything but in two plots (Fireport, and Camelot) I have been ignored thus far, save for a glance and a comment. If I can continue I'm sure you can as well.

I'm not attempting to sound mean, bitchy, or anything but in two plots (Fireport, and Camelot) I have been ignored thus far, save for a glance and a comment. If I can continue I'm sure you can as well. Lucy, while I cant speak for Fireport, I can speak for Camelot.. *sighs* Camelot has been a major learning curve for me.. Obviously, it hasnt worked out to plan as of yet, as a few origional players have bailed on me, and others dont realy have anyone or any connection to respond to in the plot. Poor Queen Bee was posting as TWO C's who were pretty much ignored. Again, I was reliant on someone else to play the character that was to be the main one to interact with her.. a player who bailed, leaving her with not a hell of a lot to do. When my character is up in a grandstand watching the tournament, she cant suddenly go up to your C whos just appeared down in the arena to introduce herself.. I was planning for this big THING to play out , where Lancelot, Sir Tristan and your C would all be competing, buying drinks at the bar, etc.. but none of that panned out.. Im sorry.. I had this story in my head of how I wanted to play out Camelot, but that only realy involved Guin and Lance. Then, through discussions with other people who know a hell of a lot more than me about Camelot, we came up with some brilliant plot ideas that are HOPEFULLY still going to come to fruition.. As Ive just kinda lumped characters together that dont realy have any interaction with each other, hence the disaster of the last chapter of the story.. I DO have plans for the next chapter, though Ill be looking for some feedback on THAT thread.. I DESPERATELY need your C, as I was hoping to work something out between him and Lady Elaine that I wanted to speak to you and Queen Bee about.. Keep that in mind and we will discuss this on the actual Camelot thread. ;D Once again though, I am sorry for your character being ignored.. it was never my attention. Okay.. now Domar *hugs* Dont fret my pet... We are ALL learning here, myself included and we are all HOPEFULLY patient enough to help out when we can so please dont worry your pretty little head about anything k? Now lets get playing this thing.. I wanna know who killed the Gnome!

To The Jaxness: I guess that the phrase I used could be confusing, so I'm sorry.(I think that's four times I've said that now. ;D) I am also including your char in a very important part of the plot development, so I hope that it makes up for my earlier neglect. One last thing, is it alright if in my next post if I have Rolloth and Roxy go somewhere and talk about the letter, or is there something else you would like them to do?
To All: Before I post I want to ask for some feedback. In my next post I was planning on having the beginning being what Rolloth explained in the staff meetings and responses to people need replies to things they did before the staff meeting. Then the second part would be the time after the staff meeting and what happens then. Does this sound ok to everyone or does anyone think a different way would work better?

Im sorry! I only just saw this post, so I do apologise for my delay in responding. *hugs*
K, some feedback hmm? *thinks* You need to give us something to do, something to respond to... if there are "things" behind this attack, whats going to happen? Are we going to go in search of them? Are we staying at the Inn.. ? By no means do I want you to tell us everything you have planned every second of the day, cause it takes away the mystery and thrill of RP. But you asked for feedback, so Im suggesting you give us something to DO. ;D
