Josh.. Im sorry. Thats all I can say. I cant physically grab people, tell them to ignore their real life issues and post here more frequently. The thing is, I understand your frustration.. I REALY do.. Ive waited MONTHS for people to post.. not weeks.. MONTHS. Its been frustrating, and Ive given little reminders, even nagged a bit when its gone past the two month part, but I havent had my head explode or threaten to take a character out of a plot. My war between light and dark realm? THATS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS.. waiting for people to post, people disappearing then going awol then reappearing, forgetting their C, creating new ones.. etc.. the list goes on. But Ive been patient and tried to do the best with what I have cause I truly love RP and in particular that plot as it was my first baby, if you know what I mean?

As for Terry.. *sighs* Gilligan.. I am so fucking sorry you have to deal with this. For the record people, Terry is extremely busy with alot of stuff right now, including Morthika. Even though he has told me a thousand times that he just cant take any more Characters on cause he doesnt have the time, he knew how desperate I was for a talented creative player to take on the role of the Big Bad.. and as a favour to me and for the benefit of the plot, he took on what has to be an incredibly gruelling role. You may ask.. "benefit of the plot"? and yes.. Gilligan being the Big Bad IS for the benefit of the plot. He has some realy good ideas for it, his posts are brilliant and Im realy happy with where things are going. I could of put someone else in charge, though to be honest I had absoloutely NO OFFERS from ANYONE to take on the role who was on the same page with what we wanted for this plot. I could of picked someone who would post like this:

The big bad was pissed off. He told his guards to hurt the inmates and sat back with his feet on the desk.

In fact, Im sure Gilligan COULD find time to write crappy three liner posts but as we are prefer quality posts here, hes not posting till ONE, he has the time, TWO, he has the creative energy required to post, and THREE, people get off his back. People nagging you and having a go at you for not posting, doesnt inspire you to post. It just pisses you off and makes you want to stay away from the place..*sighs* Im not having a go at you Joshy Poos.. I understand your frustration, I realy do.. and you do have the right to express yourself. However, in future, if you could reword your posts so they are a little bit nicer or better yet.. send your complaint to the person involved via the correct PRIVATE channels ie: PM or AOL, then it would just keep the negativity out of this place.

In conclusion: Gilligan is doing his best. If this is frustrating you that much that you want to pull Stone out of this plot, then we will be sad to see him go, but completely understand. Ill leave that decision up to you.

Also, as Gilligan pointed out, there is alot of crap cluttering up the Announcements section, so Ill be taking care of that right now. He did make an announcement saying he would be gone for a week, and how to carry on without him, but it got drowned in the other shit..

Sorry for my delay in noticing this situation.. I myself.. i have ALOT of problems going on right now, and I announced I was taking a small break for a little while. Though I cant stay away from this place for more than a few days, I thought everything would be okay in my absence. *sighs and rubs eyes* Lets just all get along, and play, huh?

This goes for everyone on Morthika, not a dig at Josh or Terry or anything. I've waited two months for a post and I've made people wait two months for a post, it all comes down to respect and patience. Trust that things will continue where they left off.

PP is a slightly different case because it's so huge and there are so many people involved, perhaps we need to go back to some semblance of 'turn'' system. write up a list of ALL people involved atm, and have turns, I go first, Hex goes, Dawn goes, Josh goes. Then we at least know whose turn it is next and can somewhat predict how long things will take and what will happen next. We can easily skip one person when possible or with their permission they can be very slightly autoed and move onto the next person. At the moment I have NO idea what's going on, I only posted once in 3 months.

Josh ISNT going to take Stone outta the plot, for one. He's told me all the AWSOME idea's he has for his character, and I'll KILL before I let those genius ideas die. If I can help in any way (altho I dont know how I could help), PLEASE let me know.

I tried to work away some of Joshy-poo's frustration earlier when he came over, but I think I mighta made things worse . But I'll try to keep him from taking it out on you guys.

That said.. me thinks its time to breathe some fresh life into this place..

Im posting this on this thread, cause the character Im talking about is related to the "Big Bad". Currently, Bianca, Tanasha and Athalia are being chased by some mysterious agent/s in "the van". I was thinking it would be cool to have this mysterious agent (and even agentS if someone else wants to join) actually being played by a player and not an NPC. This agent would also give Terry some back up as one of the "baddies" and could work with him quite well, reporting back to base for example.

"Blood and Roses" has expressed a desire to take on this role and has assured me that " But I could play a bad guy. I can do that pretty well." So what say you guys? I've asked him to contact Terry privately so they can discuss Terry's ideas for the Big Bad, and how one of his agents would act. It also makes things a bit more scary, actually running from someone instead of an NPC.

How say you guys?

Okay, so I've done a lot of tabletop RP in my time, and most of it as GM/ST. As a side-effect of this, I have a bit of trouble sticking to just one "character" and instead tend to run entire hords of NPC. Angry mobs, police squads, herds of cows, whatever. Why? Because it amuses me.

Actually, it's because it's the most familiar and comfotable method of RP I know. That being said, I'm less likely to run with just a single Agent of Evil, and instead be more likely to try and act as "the other team". Sure, it's not true "role-play" in the sense of actors in a stageplay, a style that sees a lot of use around Morthika. But it IS a great way to keep the story flowing, and gives mental-blocked players something to react to.

Anyway, I brought this up because I wanted to address this idea with anyone/everyone involved before deciding whether or not to accept me into your story. Even if you all don't like the idea of a GM-style approach to the Opposition, I'd be just as happy to take the role of a single agent sent by the Big Bad. I'm easy.

And yeah BnR.. I like where you are heading with your ideas. I think it would be good to have some baddieS to go up against.. a whole horde if you will. ;D Just as long as Gilligan is on board with it all, cause he had some pretty specific ideas for The Tower, then Im happy with whatever y'all come up with.
