Yeah, I'm working on that. I posted first to help the resident trucker along.

So, I was reading over the new PP thread, and noticed you don't exactly have a villain assigned in this story yet. I would like to offer my humble storytelling skills to this end. I haven't been around much lately, and I know I have a habit of playing hard for a few months before dropping unexpectedly... but I wanted to put myself out there. If there's a unanimous decision in favor, I'll post, and if against, I'll be happy to read this one as it developes. Your feedback, yea or nay, is appreciated. Thanks, guys!

I don't have any problems with it... It was starting to look like steven and I would have to auto the bad guys. If you do start up and then suddenly need to disappear for awhile, I wouldn't have any problem autoing bad guys, and I'm sure anyone else in the plot wouldn't either.

Okay, so now I've "officially" joined the thread as the Bad Guys. Hooray! Sorry it took so long, I've been meaning to get to it. So anyway, I had a few questions and ideas to kick around with You, the Players of this thread.
1. Does this thread have an ultimate goal as of yet? If not, does anyone mind if I put one in motion?
2. Dakkon: Are you amenable to Steven's being brought to heel, at least temporarily? Or is your intent to escape? I ask, because of the aforementioned goal, and where it would go. Either is cool, I can roll with both.
3. If he IS looking for an escape scenario, is this what everyone else is doing, too? We have one of those threads going, you know. It wouldn't be too hard to tie the two together, if everyone is looking for another "On the Run" story.
4. How does everyone feel about striking a deal with the Devil?
Replies not entirely necessary, though greatly appreciated. The better I know your desires for making a great story, the better I can help with that. Thanks, guys.

Steven is mine, actually. And I'm cool with him being brought under, just know he's gonna HATE it. He's violent, vicious, and loves freedom. He will kill anyone it takes to escape

*glowing-red shamefacedness*
Oops... my bad, yo. A thousand pardons, I beg of you.
Okay, Sabis, then. I know he'll hate being controlled, but don't worry, it won't be for long -- only until his frenzy passes. What would you (as player, not character) find more acceptable -- being tranqed like a bull elephant and trussed up again, or neutralized in a non-violent fashion by an ability that circumvents Steven's own? There's pros and cons to each, of course.
Tranqs: Going down fighting is always in style for tough guys, as they get to kick as much bad-guy ass as they can before passing out. But they inevitably end up waking in a cell or strapped to a table or some other out-of-the-frying-pan-into-the-fire situation (the bread and butter of heroes). And of course, heavily dosed on more drugs.
Abilities: There's something to be said about finding out that no matter how strong or tough you are, you can be brought down by someone half your size. The benefits to this scenario are mostly in character development, because it helps build a lasting relationship between adversaries. Hatred, fear, respect and understanding are the trade-off for a scene that finds the character temporarily helpless (which, for tough guys, sucks).
If neither of these appeal to you, I'm open to suggestions. Kryptonite, perhaps? :-D

Well, he's a Highlander. He's genuinely Immortal unless you chop his head off. But they do have weakness, such as negating magical affects (and I mean genuine shutting down EVERYTHING) does turn off his power while he's exposed. The Quickening is the source of litterally everything that makes him super-human. I would suggest letting him slaughter the guards to burn off some rage and then capture him through a combo. Afew tranqs won't stop him, but it will slow him down. Even if it's not needed for your power to stop him, he's likely to THINK it did... Nothing like a hero who thinks he can win if he's not weakened first, keeps him coming back for more.

So I'd really like to resuscitate this story, and we've got two posted already. However, Tara and Key are still left, and I don't know if either Mori or Dan (Key is Dan's character, right?) have the motivation or time to post for this one (I get that there's hotter stories going on right now). If either of you guys wants to post, cool. If not, cool. Just drop me a message either way, so I know.
Also, I wanted to let you guys know that if you don't want to post for this one, I can (and will!) auto you until you get the chance (or inclination) to jump back in. I promise to keep your characters safe... for now ):-D

To be honest, I dont even remember which Character I have in this realm or what shes up to. Without my old crew (Poe and Goober) and probs without Dan as well.. this one has lost its spark for me. So yeah, please auto my gal and I might join in again at a later time. As it is Im now in four active plots and thats enough for me to juggle for now. Ta babes.
