Physical Description-
Sharing none of Andras’ glaring albinism, Zoe is a wealth of color. A natural tan darkens her skin tone to that of warm honey and it is this soothing hue that softens what would otherwise be harsh features. Auburn locks are hacked above the shoulder in a careless, yet stylish, fashion that requires little time and effort. Frequently unattended, the mane’s silken ends reach upward around her jaw in tangled curls. Slashing brows make her deep set, emerald eyes all the more striking. Almond in shape and slightly slanted, their intense gaze is often clouded and unfocused as if she looks in rather than out. A frown commands her full, red lips when they’re not curved into the only other expression she cares to use, a sneer. At 5’8, she possesses the muscle toned figure of an active woman, though conceals this fitness under numerous layers of clothing. From the neck down her skin and body are very much a mystery given the long coat, leather gloves and knee high boots she uses to cover them. It is impossible to tell on appearance alone whether she is older or younger than Andras.
Special Abilities-
Gifted- or as Zoe sees it, cursed- with the ability to hear the cries of a murderer’s victims, she need only move into the range of their combined voices to discern the number and characteristics of the lost souls. The fewer kills, the closer she must be to the killer. Years of experience have taught her to distinguish individuals in the din and she can pull facts from the incessant roar of their screams. Matching victim to culprit is perhaps her most useful hunting tool. A longer ranged skill is a basic aura reading capability which splits the population into two groups: white, for the unmarked, and black, for those who have taken a life and been forever marked by darkness.
Misc. Abilities-
Close combat, either hand-to-hand or armed with her prized blades, is Zoe’s forte. A combination of martial arts and her own moves form her unique style. She rarely fights with any other purpose but to kill quickly. With a host of fatal attacks and an aggressive nature, she is usually successful. Uraeus and Ka, daggers of mystical energy, function on the physical and spiritual planes, respectively. While Uraeus’ poisoned blade is most effective against solid beings set loose on the physical world, Ka’s strength is best used against ghosts and other creatures of the spirit world. Neither blade performs properly out of its element.
