k, even though I swore I would hold off on pitching new ideas till we got some new players, I couldnt resist..  Besides.. we've got heaps of new players now and Im sure they would be interested in joining up with a brand spanking new plot, right guys? *prods with whip* So bare with me here, as this is just a basic idea so far, but heres the idea: Think: A prison. A jail of some kind, with bars, guards, cells and no way out. Think: A psych ward. Crazy people playing checkers and drugged up by people dressed in white. Only thing is the patients arent crazy. They are either cursed or blessed with some form of paranormal activity ie; telekenisis, the ability to see ghosts, light fires etc. The posibility for character creation here is endless and I think it would be interesting to see what everyone comes up with. The only restriction race wise, would be that all the patients would have to be human, but obviously they can get away with having a few "special powers"... hehee.. Oh yeah, did I mention the fact that the compound they are being kept in is run by a team of scientists that work for the government? *shrugs and laughs* I dont know about that part yet.. but there are definately going to be creepy scientists and such.. so yeah, what do y'all think? Anyone interested? Ideas? jelly beans?? |

K, I just had another idea, that perhaps the patients/inmates dont know that the other patients/inmates are similarly inflicted, and are told by the guards and the doctors that they are freaks and never to let the others see or they will be killed. So on the surface, its your normal high security psych ward where these people are studied, medicated and given "therapy", but in reality its a government funded secret project for some scientist/religous dude?
Just a thought.. lol.. any others?

yeah well there would be recreation time see? So they could mix in the rec hall or out in the yard... *ponders some more*
And eventually I wouldnt mind planning a kind of prison break thing.. think Chicken Run minus the Chickens.. ;D

Kinda makes me think of something that would be very X-Men, heh. Some bunch of mutants held like that, not knowing they were a mutant, until..one day...lol. (I saw X-Men 2 recently.)

Dammit, i wanted the psycho monkey.... I'm not sure what i want yet... i'm torn between a young girl who can summon demons or a depressed telekenetic and pshychic dude.... TORN. crazy chicks are always better than dudes though... hmmm?
Ooh it wouldn't hurt to also have some players who are doctors at the ward?

K, youre the second person to say Mutants and X men to me.. *makes a mental note to find out what that means exactly* I think its some comic thing or something, but Ive never paid attention cause I thought it was MUTANTS.. like mutated people and thingies.. not normal humans with paranormal abilities..
Oh and BTW Gilligan I adore the idea of you playing ANYTHING to do with a monkey.. its just so appropriate some how ya know? ;D Just so long as you stop flinging poop at me Im sure we will be okay.. *giggles*
And BB, youre right. We do need some doctors and guards as well, thats a crucial part of the story.. We also need a big bad for the warden of the place.. anyone interested?

As far as motivation for "The Man" it could be that they fear a take over, just plain think they are a danger to society and blah blah blah. just throwin somthing out there.
I may join but I have to think of a good character/ability. Right now im kinda drained. So far I was thinking of a guy who can alter his DNA to make himself look different, be able to do different things

A guy that can turn into a Ferret named Lord Fattington.

Well what if the government wanted to use these dudes and dudettes as agents in military situation, there would be nothing more dangerous, send them to war as spies or on the front line, could be very devastating for the enemies. Or they could be used as spies. Especially lord Fattington.
