Samael nonchalantly flew in near the party. Landing, he laughed at the felled creatures. "That's quite the task you accomplished." He turned toward the destruction mage in satisfaction of his abilities. "My name is Samael and it would be an honor to join the group of one with such talents."

Tekk only looked at Domar while he spoke of the slain creatures being primitive. His forked tounge continued to flick out for some time before he nodded his agreement to moving forward. As he was about to pursue on, a hellspawn landed not far from him and began addressing him. Samael's words only reaffirmed his belief that he was leading the odd assortment on this particular adventure, and so far Tekk liked him. Somthing about the other man that spoke to him gave him an odd feeling, what it was he didn't know, though he guessed it had somthing to do with whatever abilities the man possessed.
"I am Tekk, and this was," he looked around at the fallen and continued "But a small task." His voice was much more draconic than human. Whether Tekk was making a joke about the verticaly challenged Trogs or that they were just weak creatures, was up to interrpretation. Once again, Tekk seemed to forget he was supposed to be holding a weapon and streatched as though he was bored. Now that there was no threat at the moment, he looked back to see what was the source of sound coming from behind. It was a tauric creature, a lizard to be more precise, Tekk didn't enjoy that she adorned herself in dragon scales. He also didn't care enough to do anything about it, in his mind it wouldn't have even been entertaining telling her off.
"Let's go," Tekk barked at the rest that were straggling behind. Weak. They can't keep pace and they haven't even seen battle yet. Tekk had a habit of being very harsh on anyone that couldn't prove themself to him, which usually ended up being just about everyone.

Samael drew an axe with a large chain attached. Holding it down with one hand and using the other to cast a spell over it he began to chant the words for a simple flame spell. He wrapped the chain about his wrist and grasped his now flaming axe.

Aleera rolled her eyes at the dramatics of the new comer; seriously I don’t see why he might need a flaming axe, especially when there are no threats right now. Sighing she turned to follow the “leader”, he seemed overly pompous, but Aleera didn’t see any real reason to protest or reject him as the leader, for now at least. She turned and followed the draconic, at a slow pace, while eyeing the rest of the group.

"hmmm... A fiend... this should prove interesting." Firith had a low opinion of his cousins, seeing as their forbears had been bitter enemies. However during his slavery he had befriended a few of them, and they had proven invaluable to the overthrow of the masters. he shuddered, and turned towards the draconic who was taking a forward position. He never had understood the barbaric races' need for a leader, in his home community the descisions had been made by the whole town, but, seeing as he was going to be traveling with these people, he decided to make the best of it. Stridding forward he fell in step with the growing party. remembering the blind man, he turned and offered his hand, "this way."

When Samael realized how many...mortals...were about him he realized now may not be the time for simple theatrics. Nevertheless, his axe stayed flaming as he fell into step with the others and followed behind.

Domar was walking ahead of the group as they followed Tekk, who strangely enough had agreed to moving ahead without questioning his knowledge of such creatures. Domar understood, that being the Dragonspawn Tekk was, that Tekk should recognize the common ancestory he and the Trogs shared, but the uncaring attitude that seemed to be eminating him disturbed Domar. None the less Domar was glad that the group didn't feel like staying in the Garden where there were sure to be many more of the creatures. Domar continued onward down the path. Little bits of clouds were all over the place, hanging onto tree, plants, and the ground itself. Suddenly a gust of wind blew through the place and the large cloud bank that was not too far away from Domar was loosed form its anchor. As the clouds were blown away a tall, domed building, that was topped with three massive, stone bird statues, came into view. Domar looked with awe at the intracate carvings that covered most of the building and the way the gold-colored metal that filled the carvings seemed to shimmer and shine with a life of their own. Domar recovered after a moment and said to those behind him, if they were even there, "Well, if we're looking for something powerful and important then this looks as good as anyplace to find it." He then continued down the path and into the building.
The inside of the circular building was so large that it seemed as though it shouldn't have fit. On almost every wall on the ground floor were huge bookshelves filled with extreamly old books and other ancient papers. In the center of the room there was a cylinder of stone, that came up to the waist of a normal human, with a thin layer of obsidian on the top. There were also five staircases that led to the upper level spaced equidistant from each other. The upper level was just a balcony over looking the floor below. Light shined in through the glassless windows on the upper story. They entire place was covered in dust and cobwebs which had only been disturbed by the wild animals of the island. Once inside the building Domar took a quick look for any possible threats, but saw none.

The main reason for Tekk's apathy toward the little creatures was because he refused to recognize them as draconic, sure they may have descended from dragons, but they have long since lost their ties with the powerful dragons. Also, Tekk beleived he was a god-to-be and thusly such creatures were below him. Tekk continued down the path, when the clouds suddenly dispearsed, bringing a large domed building into view. Immediately, Tekk was drawn to the three large bird statues, for some reason Tekk had an odd feeling about them. He would have flown up and began smashing them, but saw no need at the moment. Perhaps on his way out he would destroy them just for kicks.
Continuing into the building, he didn't hear Domar's comment on the possiblity of this place holding somthing powerful and important. Upon entering the building Tekk was met with an even more unsettleing feeling, as though they were walking into a trap. This actually caused Tekk to begin to laugh, seemingly for no reason. "Does any one else get the feeling that we are not alone here?" Tekk welcomed any pathetic creatures or feeble trapping mechanism that was intent on doing any sort of damage to him.
After turning 'round and 'round and laughing, like a psychopath, Tekk walked straight for the stone pillar. Tekk could definately feel some sort of life other than those of his little group, how far off that life was he couldn't be sure. For all Tekk knew the life form(s) were either far away or as he was hoping those three birds on top of the building they were now in. The reason he beleived more in the latter was because animated objects/constructs give off a weak life force, much like distant life. Expecting somthing to happen, Tekk ran his hand over the obsidian on the pillar.

As he followed, Firith couldn't help but wonder why the dragonman was so power hungry. He could feel the ambition literally burning at his soul, and he sighed. Maybe someday the others would see the true inner light... He was jerked out of his revere when Tekk began to laugh. he walked in to he large dome with it's odd bird statues just in time to see the reptilian egomaniac touch an ominous pillar.

Samael entered the building and flew up to the balcony as fast as he could. He began to gaze about the room, taking special care to inspect the area of the balcony to make sure he was safe in his current position.

As Domar listened to Tekk laughing psychotically he thought to himself *Why was such a man allowed in the group? He doesn't seem mentally sane. I mean if someone were watching me I sure wouldn't laugh.* Domar turned around to watch the others enter the room and watch Samael fly up to the balcony. Then into his surprise text went and started to stroke the obsidian topped platform. Only a moment after Tekk touched the obsidian topped platform it projected a large light blue 3-D map of the island they were on appeared above it. The entire map was see-through but at the same time you are able to see details such as paths, vegetation, and buildings. Each and every part of the map matched the actual island down to every painstakingly made detail. There were even several little people inside the domed building, each one identical to the person inside the real building. The only thing was that above each person was tiny red letters that spelled out the word 'Intruder.' Domar walked up to Tekk with fury showing in his eyes. "Why in the hell would you touch something if you had no idea what in the world it would do? What do you want us all to die?" Domar was about to continue when all of a sudden the map disappeared and a light blue human, real size, appeared above it in the map's place. "Welcome to island No. 03. If you wish to survive please turn off all safety protocol. To do so please place your hands upon the city in and an administrator will make his way towards your area," it said to no one in particular. It then continued by saying, "Error. Error. There are no administrators upon this island. Please make your way to the central tower to manually override the safety protocol. We hope that this does not inconvenience you in any way. All safety protocol shall start up now. Beast cages opening and all autonomous guardians shall now activate. We hope to see you up on home island No. 07." With all that said demand disappeared and nothing came in its place. Rather the ceiling began to shake and the call of a giant bird, slightly muffled, came through the windows. Along with the caws came the screams of several small creatures from outside. Domar quickly ran out to see what the commotion was and what he saw caused him to cry for everyone to get outside. "Were surrounded," he said, "We need to get the hell out of here!" The three giants stone birds that were on top of the building had animated and were beginning to attack the trogladites that had surrounded the building. Domar had no idea how they were supposed to get through the giant ocean of reptilian beasts, but he knew that if they were to stay then the birds would start attacking them too and he would rather take on the small creatures than the giants stone birds.
(OOC: sorry about a long wait but IRL issues take precedence.)

Taken aback by the projection and the disembodied voice, Firith barly had time to note the immensity of the map before the building begain to shake. Whipping his chains about him, he begain to chant some words in the celestial tounge of his forefathers. He felt the calm of a peaceful mind, and began to take stock. "Let's see if there is a back way out, or tunnel or something!" he souted to his comrads.

When the map appeared Tekk said "Oooh," obviously pleased with his discovery. The man that gave off a strange arua came toward Tekk and started berating him. Standing to his full height and spreading his wings, Tekk then spoke his voice reverbarating off the walls only increasing his draconic appearance. "If you were not at peace with death then why have you made a venture into the unknown? As I recall we are searching blindly and I have just found a map."
It wasn't long after Tekk and Domar's little spat quieted, that the blue man began repeating the word error. Then Firith began shouting for everyone to runaway and Domar exlaimed that they were surrounded and should get away as well. "Have fun with that," Tekk replied before crouching down and throwing himself into the air. Evidently Samael was the only other person who had the same joys as he. "Come Samael, lets have some fun."
With out waiting for the Demon's reply Tekk flew out en route for one of the birds, all the while he was smiling bearing his draconic teeth. He had wanted to destroy these birds and now that they could fight back it only made things more entertaining.

Samael clutched his axe as his wings unfurled to their full widths about him. The connected chain fettered the He rushed toward the large stone birds. The fire seemed to burst into an even brighter light as he worked himself up for the battle.
After he had gotten out of the balcony he looked to his adversaries and rushed them so fast as Hell could carry him. He could not let a fire-immune foe strike first.

Domar had just finished calling for everyone when he heard the whistle of arrows and javalins flying past him. He was amazed that none of them had hit him, but he wasn't about to test fate a second time. He quickly stepped back into the building and took cover behind the archway. The Heaven Spawn opened his eyes and made a comment about finding some tunnels and moments after Tekk and Samael took to the sky. "Sorry Heavenspawn, but there's no way in heaven or hell you're going to get me into a tunnel, and since the suicidals are fighting the birds I'm going to get rid of those pesky Trogs," Domar said to Firith. While he had been talking to Firith Domar had divised a quick plan and had pulled out of the pouch hanging from his waist a large, rune-inscribed claw. Domar quickly stepped back into the open archway and threw the claw with all of his might towards the sea of Troglodites while casting the spells that he had kept prepared in the back of his mind. A shining metal sheild appeared on Domar's arm and his sword seemed to glow a sickly green. At the same time Domar heard the familar chord ring in his mind and he knew that the show was about to start. The claw that he had thrown started to glow and that glow quickly grew to the size of a very large house. The glow then dissapeared and in its place stood a huge dragon that was covered in boney protrusions that resembled claws and fangs, and on the end of the dragon's tail were two massive blade-shaped bone protrusions. "Meet Gixverthicha, Prince of Fangs you foul heathens," Domar yelled to the now terrified Trogs just before rushing into combat with them. Gixverthicha began wading through the Trogs, trearing them limb from limb with his entire body, and Domar sliced them to peices with such a cold calmness that it might have seemed that the Trogs were nothing more than toys to him.
